Ep 27 I think

I am not sure I understand your answer. So she went through 27 reincarnations in a 1000 years, and for the first 500 years, she does not remember the ml because the ml withdrew her memory of him? how did he do that since she is dead? Also, why decide to give her her memories of him after 500 years?

I have not yet watch a Xianxia where the ml indirectly kills his future beloved and unintentionally kills her again after making the conscious decision to punish her by removing her fairy bones. This is the first xianxia that I’ve watched where the ml actually punishes the fl…ah, actually, never mind, I just remember Yehua!

Usually the ml takes the punishment in her place. Thoughts?

OK, I haven’t watched any new episodes since ep 18, but right now, at this very moment, I wouldn’t mind it at all if the fl were to decide to not be with the ml! I would also not be mad or sad if they did not get together in the end. I am just not moved by their love story. It’s just not epic to me.

I heard that she’ll pretend not to be A Yin when she returns. The witches won’t know at first that she is A Yin! I hope that will not be the case, unless it is somehow part of her master - revenge - plan!

I haven’t watched any new episodes, since ep 18. I am waiting for her to be reborn to binge it.

What did his father do that made him suffer for 60K years?

I saw a trailer showing the ml sitting at the fl’s table, following her around like a lost puppy, and even daring to carry her away, and the fl - in her phoenix queen self - lets him! I fear we will not witness the cold shoulder. The fl’s reaction to the ml seems to be mild annoyance. I don’t think we will get the grovel we hoped for.

Also, I saw in the comments below that the fl may even pretend to not be A Yin! So the witches won’t know at first that she is A Yin! Why? If I were her, I’ve arrived in the immortal realm and screamed « I’m back bxxxxx » lol exactly like that scene when Octavia get off that spaceship in season 1, ep 1 of « the 100 » with Imagine Dragons by Radioactive playing in the background in ancient xianxia China! lol

how late? it better be from one fresh to the next because ain’t no one got time for her to pretend she’s not A Yin. Lol

So what if the ml waited a thousand years. The fl wasnt around during that time. When she is reborn, her memories will be fresh no? Like it happened just yesterday? It would be a bit unrealistic if she forgave him because of the passage of time, and the fact that
he waited for her. The trust is broken, he did not believe/trust in her and protected her at her most vulnerable point. I am sure this hurt will be more painful to overcome than any torture that the peacock or the ml’s nanny inflicted.

Also, if we were to apply to passage of time logic, then one could also say: why make the peacock suffer, a thousand years went by!

I also want to see the fl come back and bring karma and the phoenix fire with her. They need to understand she can’t be messed with. She better not come back all soft and forgiven to those who hurt her!

Better yet, SR is actually the daughter of the man who killed her so called « father ». Falls in love with the manager’s brother only to find out he is her biological brother! ha!

I want Da Jung to be the real grandmother because I want her to rub it in her cheater husband face and her mother-in law. These money-hungry greeedy clowns.

I see comments saying that the ml is so protective of the fl! Where did that protection get her? lol. I am happy to see that the comment section is still very much respectful considering the division when it comes to the ml!

I think I am to wait until ep 27 is released to continue this drama. I am at ep 19

Ok, to be honest, my problem with this particular ml is that he doesn’t stands out after 18 episodes (I haven’t watched ep 19 yet). He hasn’t done anything remotely of value in all these episodes. What has he even done in the heavently realm since he arrived there?

In the earlier episodes, his quests with the fl to find the phoenix’s shattered essence were all very formulaic, and not challenging enough. The fight scenes are forgettable and he, again, did not stand out in these scenes. I am not asking for him to be badass in every scene but I am just not getting main character vibes from him. Even that scene when he received the sword was lukewarm.

Sure the ml is kind to everyone, and, I admit, it is refreshing to see, but he is also so gullible and easily tricked and manipulated. It’s just frustrating to see, given that one episode he seems to show growth (ep 10) and in next few others, he is easily tricked. I guess we can say that he is inexperienced but at the moment he is not the sharpest tool in the shed. Even his sword is smarter than him.

I am also not moved by the romance between the fl and the ml. Sure there is chemistry but the relationship went from friendship to them finally getting together, but the relationship lasted 1-2 episodes because others started to interfere with their relationship. It is not enough for me to view their romance as epic and want the fl to get back with the ml when she is reborn as the phoenix.

It’s not that I hate or do not like the ml. I am just not moved by his character so far and I am disappointed in his character: not trusting his beloved, choosing to remove her fairy bones, killing her and then stalking her after killing her (based on the trailers).

I am hoping for some character growth!
