I think I’ll give the blue whisper another go? how’s the chemistry between the main couple? I’ve tried watching ALP at least two times, but it hasn’t grabbed my attention.

I also respect everyone personal likes and dislikes. I voiced my dislikes about the drama, and I was genuinely asking what’s so great about it (I did not say I did not like it, I just didn’t enjoy it as much, mainly because of the fl’s character). What’s so great about TTEOTM…the fl spent the entire show distrusting the ml, hurting the ml and betraying the ml. I know her actions are justified in the book, but they made the ml’s character too sympathetic in the series so I was having a hard time whenever she hurted or betrayed him. If anything, she had a hand in him turning into the villain. The ending was also rushed. It’s a 6/10 for me.
But I guess different strokes for different folks.
Starry Love was also a 6/10 for me. I could not warm up the main fl. Frankly I didn’t care for any of the couples. It felt more like a teen xianxia with a lot of immmature characters.

Ni Ni can act! Whenever the fl was crying, I felt so sad for her. I could feel her pain and her love for the ml and vice versa. The ml was such an imposing character. Whenever he’s on screen, you know « he is the ml ». The actor can act with his eyes. And whenever he takes out his sword, you know he ain’t playing!

Love & Destiny is with an older cast. The God of War is not some skinny pretty innocent looking boy. He looks the part, the God of War, a figure not the be trifled with. He is manly, and once he falls in love, he falls hard. Nothing and no one can’t take the fl away from him. If you like to see skinny pretty « boys » as God of wars, then Love & Destiny is not for you. The role is played by the seasoned actor Chang Chen, while NiNi (a great actress and beauty) plays the fl!
Welcome, but you will have to wait and see for yourself. My update was up to ep 13. I imagine the ones against their relationship will use some device/spell to make the ml forget his love for the fl - this may explain why he was able to kill her. As I said, all of this is incoming. Enjoy the show!
