the response is in relation to your last comment not so much the drama. but I still do believe that she caused harm to someone who was in a sense innocent to her situation.
while healing does take time you also have to remember that in dealing with others you could possibly be the cause of harm for that person. Trauma should never be the excuse when you’re already an adult. This is what allows persons to continuously pass said trauma on to their kids and the cycle continues.
I’m at episode 15 but you said she tried to speak up and honestly that is a tripe I hate in dramas because it not that hard to have a conversation with someone .
that is true but your background can’t always be the excuse. I got it at the start when she first set out and thought of him as her enemy but after all that’s happened she had a chance to come forward and didn’t even try.
while I do admit this is true. from a viewer’s perspective it does feel icky when feeling of love comes into the mix and she continues to manipulate without the decency to give a proper apology. When you think of it her entire plan was fixed around him falling for her and engraving their names so she can get what she wants. I’m judging base off of these things.
when he carved their names on the stone I felt like she didn’t handle the situation well. she cried a little then went back to manipulating and lying .
The empress of the susha kingdom never cared about her son’s safety, she only wanted power. If this was a safety issue she would’ve allowed him to take the grand prince position. Even after all of that when FSG came back she could clearly see that he ment no harm to his brother but she couldn’t accept that she lost. Now her son will have to live with guilt and feeling responsible for his parent’s death
