Habitus seems to be owned by Cinema Upright and actually Barcode follows the CEO and she has both Cinema Upright…
That's very interesting. How did you come to the conclusion that Habitus seems to be owned by Cinema Upright?

i dont know what is happening anymore. Did they released it without the consent of actors at the end or not ?
Judging by the statements issued by Studio On Saturn the show was released without Jeff's consent. As for the rest of the cast - we know nothing.

This is a complete circus.
Prior to posting the above I asked Cinema Upright - on IG and through a contact form on their webpage - whether the statement quoted by "BoysLoveHubENG" was indeed theirs (I linked to it just in case). That was about 40 minutes ago. They just responded on IG, but instead of confirming or denying anything they sent me the statement as it was qouted by "BoysLoveHubENG", adding nothing - that was their whole reply. At least it does come from one of the parties involved. Also: nice of Cinema Upright to reply so promptly - it's 7 PM in my time zone, but it's 2 AM in Korea.

The more I look into it the less I understand and the more opaque everything is.
Supposedly a shot, but unfinished "Wooju Bakery" was bought from the bankrupt Hanyang International Studio by a company called "Habitus". No idea whether it’s Korean or Thai – I couldn’t find any trace of its online presence: no webpage, no social media profiles. Bit weird for a media company. I did find several Korean companies with the word "habitus" in their name, but none of them seemed to be the one I was looking for. Also: up until recently all posts about the upcoming release of "Wooju Bakery" mentioned Cinema Upright (시네마직립보행) as the company which bought the unfinished show from Hanyang – where and when did this "Habitus" show up?
Yesterday a statement signed "Habitus Company" popped up online, denying allegations from a statement by Studio On Saturn issued on 17.04.2026. As far as I can tell, this rebuttal was posted only on an IG account "wooju.bakery.official", which – as someone else in this comment section pointed out – was created on the same day. Pretty late for an account dedicated to a show, which was to start airing on 10.04.2026 (only to be postponed till 19.04.2026, and later to be postponed indefinitely, at least by GagaOOLala). BTW: I tried to image search the "Habitus" logo from the statement – to no avail.
Yesterday the X account "BoysLoveHubENG" (as well as some pages, like overseasidol.com and tonboriday.com) posted about a statement by Cinema Upright regarding the SOS-Habitus dispute, quoting it (source: https://x.com/BoysLoveHubENG/status/2045552521549123703). However, there’s no trace of that statement on Cinema Upright’s webpage (where they do mention "Wooju Bakery" as a show they co-produced and released) nor on their IG and YT accounts. Also: this statement says that all inquiries should be directed to "official accounts managed by the lead production company" – and indicates "wooju.bakery.official" as such. But what do I know; maybe that statement is genuine and was only "sent to the press", as "BoysLoveHubENG" claims.
===UPDATE===
No longer so opaque! Thanks to @pinkb7usher I found "Habitus Company"; this is their IG account: https://www.instagram.com/habitus_company/
If you have doubts whether it’s the same Habitus that is involved with "Wooju Bakery", compare the logos from that IG and yesterday’s statement – they are the same. Depending on the source (post, comment, news), Habitus is responsible for production, post-production, distribution, release, some of the above or all of the above regarding "Wooju Bakery". Judging by their IG posts they are (or at least were - back in 2024) in business of renting a set/sets for making videos and photo sessions. In one of the comments below this updated post @pinkb7usher mentions they heard that the bakery set used in the series was a Habitus set and that Habitus might have been responsible for photography as well.
As for Cinema Upright, they were established in February 2025 and are producing video content (from what I’ve seen – for YT and mobile devices, but there might be more). They have a webpage (www.cinemaupright.com) with a timeline of their activity, where they mention "Wooju Bakery" in – this is interesting – September 2025, stating "8부작 미드폼 드라마 <우주빵집> 공동제작". Google translated this as "Co-production of the 8-episode mid-form drama *Space Bakery*". They mention "Wooju Bakery" again on that timeline in April 2026, writing "8부작 미드폼 드라마 <우주빵집> Wavve 공개8부작 미드폼 드라마 <우주빵집> Fuji TV 공개", which apparently means "8-Episode Mid-Form Drama Released on Wavve 8-Episode Mid-Form Drama Released on Fuji TV". You can watch their content on YT and IG (links are on their webpage).
Korean composer Soobin Lee (www.composersoobin.com) is credited with writing music for "Wooju Bakery". He composed music for "죽을수없는밤", a web series available on Cinema Upright YT channel. His webpage lists Lim Hyeran (임혜란) and Eun Jonghun (은종훈) as executive producers of "Wooju Bakery", confirming what @pinkb7usher wrote about Lim Hyeran; she’s also a CEO of both "Habitus Company" and Cinema Upright, as @pinkb7usher mentioned. Eun Jonghun wrote and directed the aforementioned web series by Cinema Upright.

No, Barcode filmed this series before he joined GMM. GMM doesn't have anything to do with this. And to clarify…
I'm aware of everything you wrote, but that does not address my point. While Barcode probably wasn't under GMMTV's management when filming "Wooju Bakery", they are managing him now - and the controversy is happening now, his interests might be at risk now. If Jeff Satur's agency (which is said to have been established by him, but is a separate legal entity) tries to protect his interests today, makes claims on his behalf etc., I wondered whether GMMTV has similar obligations managing Barcode, regardless of when the problem started. But I could be wrong - Barcode's contract with GMMTV may only regard issues that arose after that contract was concluded. That's why I inquired about the issue here.

Any idea (or news or leak or educated guess) why only SOS went public to announce it is "not supporting" the release of the series and why GMMTV stays silent? Isn't GMMTV Barcode's current agent (and not just his current employer)? If so - shouldn't they protect his interests, like SOS is doing with Jeff Satur?

No idea. I just checked the trailer on YT, at the end of it I got a link to part 1/4 of episode 1 on YT, but when…
Do you mean future GMMTV shows? Or will this include upcoming episodes of shows that already started airing, like "Cat for Cash", "My Romance Scammer" and "Only Friends: Dream On"?
BTW: limiting YT content to Asia or just part of it is a very strange decision. I would understand it a few years ago, but now, when GMMTV is holding fan meetings and events outside of SE Asia - it seems counterproductive. If the company hopes to increase its earnings by forcing the rest of the world to pay to watch that content - it might be up for a surprise. There's plenty of Thai BL content available for free, so some inter fans might turn away from GMMTV, while others will use VPNs and other methods to get to that content without paying for it. Also, this will further damage GMMTV's reputation, already tarnished by heavy overpromissing, PR fails and drop in show quality.

Why is it geographically blocked? Will all new series be blocked?
No idea. I just checked the trailer on YT, at the end of it I got a link to part 1/4 of episode 1 on YT, but when I clicked on it, YT told me that the video wasn't available in my country. I'm in Poland and we never got any GMMTV videos blocked (geo-blocked) - even when some shows (like "Kidnap") were blocked in certain countries, we got them.

I miss Fourth as an actor
Glad I wasn't the one to point out Fourth's veeeeeery long screen absence - but it bothers me too. I checked that it has been 566 days since Fourth's last show aired (23.08.2024, last ep. of My Live Mix-up), that's more than 1,5 years. This was also the last GeminiFourth show to air. Real shame.

GMMTV's backlog is absurd. They announced this show "for 2025" on 26.11.2024; 13 months later the show isn't even ready. Several other shows which were meant "for 2025" and were announced on 26.11.2024 - "Ticket to Heaven" with GeminiFourth, "Wu" with SkyNani, "A Dog and A Plane" with NewTay and "Love You Teacher" with PerthSanta - suffered the same fate, while "My Romance Scammer" with JuniorMark and OhmPoon will start airing tommorow. I mean GMMTV kind of got its audience used to delays in production and release, but this time is seems worse than before - and with no external problems to serve as an excuse (no Covid this time, the Thai military did not stage a coup etc.). And despite of all this back in November 2025 the company doubled down on presenting shows for the upcoming year - and announced an unprecedented numer of shows "for 2026". Unless GMMTV becomes turbocharged there's no way we'll see even half of those announced on 25.11.2025 by the end of this year. Sorry for the rant, I needed to get this out of my system.

Wait, hold up and rewind. So, I was right about Feratu and Jett... whatever it is happening.... I'll just wait…
A few episodes ago I was betting that Feratu is awake/conscious and controlling Jett, whom he made a vampire all those years back at the orphanage, and that the Hunters were actually created/inspired by Feratu as a tool of revenge on Jonoel vampires. Well, I was wrong.

He did a splendid job in "MuTeLuv: Not My Father!", portraying the only complex character: going from troubled to lost to dark and insane. And all that time I was like "someone give that boy a big hug, a kiss and pull him back into the light".

I'm surprised by how much I'm enjoying this show. I don't care about vampires (this is still first and foremost a BL, only this time the protagonists and setting are vampire-related instead of school or university related) and that's not what caught my attention. Boun and Prem are both doing a very good job portraying characters which feel relatable - both feel lost, trapped by their status/position, often confused by their feelings, lonely and striving for something else/more than they know. Both are gravitating towards each other despite of circumstances (again: vampire-related, but that's unimportant; what matters is that we understand their plight and feel that obstacles for their love are there, are real, not made-up). Boun's Ramil might be a bit wacky at times, but there's a lot of calm sadness about him - same as in Prem's Punn; this sadness goes away when they are together - and maybe that simple trick made me like the show. Those characters and their portrayal have grown on me.

First - both in "calm, calculating evil mode" and in "crazy, chaotic evil mode" - is a treat. I also liked today's episode for Jimmy channelling some of the "evil bitch" attitude he used in "Bad Buddy". Watching First and Jimmy - both in "evil mode" - going against each other was a highlight of my Sunday.

While the script for last part/scene of today's episode (ep. 4) was cheesy, the scene itself was enormously enjoyable and felt genuinely touching - almost exclusively due to good delivery of both Boun and (even more) Prem. Their performances and chemistry elevated the writing and saved what could have been a disaster.

1/ I'm not a whovian, but still felt the opening credits similar - in vibe, design and music - to those of "Doctor Who"; I actually liked it more than the episode itself.
2/ While I liked Gemini's performances in "Moonlight Chicken", MSP and - to a degree - in "My Love Mix-Up!", I was unimpressed by him in ep. 1 here (I'll keep watching, maybe it's me who needs adjusting).
3/ Biggest disappointment so far: Aungpao's performance. I loved him in "Cooking Crush" and kept rooting for him (while ranting that GMMTV's not giving him a decent role to play, relegating him to background characters); now that he got a little more screen time than usually (albeit in a principal cast larger than in BLs) I didn't like what I saw (but will keep watching and hoping it'll become better).
