Wow, I think I really fell in love with this type of street group of friends' type of show. Kisarazu Cat's Eye just made me love it right after the first minutes. The general story is very simple, a little stupid but somehow serious. Since the drama is principally a comedy, every episode is on its own, and every episode's story has a ingenious structure: The episode goes on with its story, usually ignoring one of the main characters who is seen in the background, with one or two little moments that don't make a lot of sense; in the end the gang reaches magically the ending and then the episode loops back to show the role of the character previously ignored, linking him to the non-sense moments (clarifying them) and explaining the ending reached before. This structure is just wow. The show nicely handles the comedic part and mixes it with some awesome drama. I almost cried on the last episode. The ending was rushed and the series is only 9 episodes long which is a little bit disappointing. The acting was really well done. It has a weird kind of humor, especially in the facial expressions, which was priceless. The characters were really good, especially Ozzy. The music really surprised me. The soundtrack is actually really good, the ending is awesome but the songs in the music episode were meh. This series can be easily recommended to anyone, it's accessible, it's hilarious, it's not something specific to a kind of taste, it's just: watch it and enjoy it.
