I think the only thing we can call a plot is her transmigrating to the drama. The rest is just bunch of illogical stuff happening one after another (how was she able to carry with her the specific medicine that the Empress needed?). I don't know if it's translation or actual thing she said but she injected the prince with "antibiotics" to which he was "immune" to and hence did not lost functionality for long (previously he had to be told that it no longer worked)...
EP12 and prince makes 180° and is on the side of FL 🤦‍♀️ (but the Emperor is now a dummy).

I am on EP11 and just can't with him constantly manhandling her, calling her evil woman etc. even though she constantly showed care for others (even the spay she never met got saved by her). I should also add he is an idiot and not just because he trust everyone but her. No! He is an idiot because the doctor said about the spy and Empress that there is nothing they can do and the death is eminent, so why not allow her to try? What can she do to them that is worst than death?
She should initiate the divorce (he is so stereotypical that he most likely is to lazy to do it himself) and ditch him, then open clinic and roll in dough.
But I must say that the previous owner of the body had real "talent" - every woman hates her (except her mother and Empress).

True! Let's add to that that Raffy was always clear with Rome that they were one night stand and that he did not want to be in a relationship with him.

I think that Jack is his own worst enemy - in less than a year from breakup, due to lie (and the job itself was - according to him - not the issue, so this makes it even weirder), he got bad enough alcohol problem he needed to go to rehab... and what do we see in EP01? Him heavy drinking because his ex is singing with another guy 🤦‍♀️
Doesn't seem like anybody even knew he had problem/went to rehab, so perhaps he did Ray version with day therapy but in that case he hasn't worked trough his relationship with Dean (which he claims was the root the the issue) and is back to the same old pattern. While I think that the whole "woods-gate" is overblown, they weren't together at the moment, so theoretically they could have done more and not be considered cheating 🤷‍♀️ Considering that Dean didn't have anywhere to stay + no money he should also not be surprised that he reached to somebody that Dean considered his friend for help.
Why Jack is this way they haven't shown us exactly (his home life doesn't seem bad - he is the one who is antagonistic to his step family but perhaps he has reason for that?).
Raffy however is clearly starved for love and validation due to his mother/home life, as she doesn't seem to care about him: he is more like a prop to her (or extension of herself) and since she is famous he doesn't have his own identity. Perhaps with Jack he was being seen for the 1st time and like an addict/gambler he kept coming back and doing anything for the hope of that rush (like children learn that if they misbehave then the parent would scold them = notice them)? He however actually decided to stop that destructive pattern: he cut of his mother, didn't leak the 2nd video even though he had it for days (I still think he should have told both of them to come clean and if they missed the deadline to do it himself with evidence or not), dropped out of the play because he understood that he is not doing it for himself but for others (and the same with Jack - he even said that part of this was him beating Dean), even though he was clearly hurt by what he overheard he still worked till the end and haven't charged headfirst like in the past.
I would say most of the characters are toxic but I think that people see that at least Raffy is trying to change for the better and Jack just spirals downward (it is really low to use somebody as a replacement 😒) - this is why Jack is perceived as more problematic, I think.
Raffy definitely started as the villain but who doesn't love a redemption arc? Some characters don't even need it, like Boston in S1: people considered Top to be worst although for me fling/crush doing that Vs a friend is a no-brainer who is the worst (I like Boston much better in S2 - he has grown a lot).

I think this is another example of them not keeping the timeline with S1. I think he did hook up with Tua (he mentioned about pictures after s°x, right?) and it must have been at around the same time he was still with Nick, as it seems like he departed for USA not long after the hook up and New Year's party.

I think we would have repeat if Mew/Ray after Mew went to the dark side. Clinging to somebody we know doesn't truly want us but being unable to untangle ourselves. How Raffy would have solved it, I am not sure, because his character is quite different from Ray (although both were deeply scared by their mothers and it shows in their adult life/perception of relationships).

That's actually quite possible, considering that as far as Pete knows only 2 people even know about the embezzlement, so he "takes out" Jack with relationship drama (so that he forgets) and Timmy with "accident". Makes sense.

True, his character shows exactly the background that would make somebody devalue themselves. I was happy (and surprised at the suddenness of it) about his change. He should really stick to it and, like Neo in S1, understand that begging for scraps of affection is not the way to live.

I think he was quite clear that he likes and not loves Jack, so I think he might have finally gotten over him after he overheard part of the bathroom conversation. Tears are quite cleansing, so he probably mourned his feelings for Jack at that time. Additionally part of him chasing Jack was actually beating Dean and it seems like after he quit the play, he stopped needing to defeat Dean.

Yes, it feels like he might slip back into his old ways, i.e. like he behaved with Jack.
On the other hand I don't believe Rome - he is going to pretend to be hard to get for like 5 seconds and then melt to the same character he had in We Are 🤭

I marathoned it and as I can believe in Boston's change, Raffy's kind of came out of nowhere. He suddenly is nicer to Rome, NC with his mom and he might have not leaked the 2nd video had he had the chance (he was keeping it for days before the day party). Overall he is the one with the biggest growth arc in the group and I like where it takes him: to his self worth (pending how he proceeds in EP11, as I won't want him to regres to the same behaviour he had with Jack). The only minus is that he should have talked with both guys and tell them that either they come clean or him - doesn't matter if he has evidence or not - and then follow through after the deadline (although in my opinion the whole drama around what happened in the woods is overblown).

This however is not what I was going to write about. The mysterious leaker. I bet it's the emblezer (I clocked him immediately as the culprit when Timmy mentioned missing money because of the sudden influx of cash). He was most likely hopping that the whole embezzlement would be forgotten due to the relationship drama (might have counted on the play to be totally cancelled considering that the last time certain somebody was lied to, it landed them in rehab...) and as a bonus get back on Raffy by making people believe he did it again (he probably saw what happened with Raffy in the woods and then saw the 2nd pair and took his chance).

I don't get the rehab/alcoholism in Only Friends and I mean in both seasons. Guys theoretically went there due to alcohol problem but now they are drinking (some even producing) like it's no issue? Shouldn't they at least drink non-alcoholic drinks or risk relapse? It's even in 1st EP, when another person drinks from the cup and comments that it's quite strong.

Another thing is timeline, especially with S1. When exactly did Boston took his 1st time when he was at the time with Nick (because it seams like he left not long after the hook up and his last meeting with Nick)? In max 1-1,5 year Sand and Ray were able to: start their brewery, make good beer and produce a lot of it + get borred from chasing festivals and are apparently already established in organising their own mini festivals (+have enough connections to get some interesting bands). There are flashbacks to the couple still being together "last year", so when exactly he got the alkohol problem so severe that he needed rehab, did the rehab and nobody noticed he was gone (unless he did only therapy sessions like Ray) or had the problem?What happend with the hostel from S1? Why Dean was there when he was already in at least 2 year relationship (and most likely living with his BF)? How come Dean (and Tua) met Boston just "a year ago" and knew nothing about his MO when in S1 it was not even an open secret, not to mention that Jack apparently also didn't know about Boston's behaviour.
They don't keep the continuity and just throw at us characters from S1 (only the girls haven't made the appearance so far).

I just marathoned it and it was cute.
At later EPs I was like: Qin's (Por) mannerisms remind me of somebody and then it clicked: Mark (as Pai/Methas more than Wine/Phone/Min/Phleng), so in that case Duang (TeeTee) should be Junior, right? No, it's totally Jummo 🤣 (especially the full body laughter and running style).
I agree about the 2nd couple - they did not have enough screen time to fully develop and were kind of left unfinished.
Since they introduced Cherry I was so hopping for "her" to end up with Tong 🤭

Director is so important, as you can tell the difference between the two, so I thought that they were just getting a handle on their chemistry in Head 2 Head but no 😬

Fah was MVP of that series till the last EP 😮‍💨 I get that what Teh said about the break up could have changed things a bit but I am still baffled that he went from "throw the whole guy to the trash" camp to a cheerleader 😒
I can also admit that I was wrong about the doctor (I think the actor was making me feel like he was not sincere as I got no such feeling from Run) but still he was too pushy for my liking.
What was the purpose of the last scene between Fah and Teh? Are they taking over Jimmy's place (the floating bubbles, like at his pool)?

I haven't read the novel and felt the same. The last 2 EPs were dragging so much for me. Were they actually trying to solve the crime or was it just a short break between flirting/making out?

I (watched it a few weeks ago, so I might not remember everything clearly) actually thought that Fah was quite clear with Jimmy about not being interested... just Jimmy could not take no for the answer. I can get that he was doing it gently at first but then he was more firm (it kind of reminds me how girls/women sometimes have to soften their rejection out of fear of the guy's possible reaction - I am not saying Fah was afraid of Jimmy but perhaps he wanted to gently let him down?).
Fah is not perfect but out of all characters has the highest level of maturity (perhaps except Freeze, if he doesn't turn out to be fake nice but still IMO he crossed some quite universal boundaries/norms). Run also is quite high on my list here.
Toh - doormat and living in delulu land for far too long + visiting uninvited 😬.
Teh - keeping everything bottled inside, theoretically protecting his brother but still more on the side of his bestie.
Jimmy - manipulative, cruel, playboy etc.

I don't know how to feel about Freeze. He seems fake nice (maybe it's the actor overdoing it? 🤔).
What I really disliked was his behaviour - he was like: I am going to leave it in your house. Not a question but a statement. What does he do then? Instead of leaving it in the salon he goes to the bedroom, while the owner wasn't even in the house, never gave him permission to do so (at this point I am not even sure they even kissed once). Some time later he does similar thing (not as bad but still): I am going to cook in your house. Not a question, statement.
I also find it suspicious how he got the acceptance letter so fast and I was so creeped out what he said about just the two of them being alone there (it felt like the subtext was: even if you wanted to escape you couldn't, like people trafficked to another country without language skills 😬). Not to mention being told clearly that Teh needs to able to stand on his 2 feet (=at least finishing his studies) + cafe working fine (which was just opened)... how exactly would that be possible in the proposed timeframe?
