I watched this movie based off of a friends recommendation. I didn't read ANY of the reviews before blindly watching, so the emotional impact hit me HARD! I cried for 20 minutes AFTER the movie had finished. That is not including the time spent crying WHILE watching the movie. 8. The story is a bit confusing at first, and towards the middle you start to think it's going to be really simple, but there are some twists that get a little weird. Overall it's a well told story, but you can't help thinking of twenty different ways it could have played out. 9. You can really feel what the actors are trying to portray. All of them, not just the main characters. 7. The music really suits the movie but it's nothing I'll be looking for later. 9. I am currently watching this movie for the second time right now, but I don't think I'll be watching it again any time soon, so thats a 7 on the rewatch value. 10. Overall, this movie just kind of fell together in a beautiful way. While admittedly I did cry a lot, this movie isn't all THAT sad. I just wasn't prepared for it, so don't let that stop you from watching. This movie is sad, scary, and funny in a silly way. I'm not sure I could describe this movie in just one word. Bittersweet would be close, but the movie is lighter than that. What did I like best about this movie? Chul Soo (Song Joong Ki), he is such a cute puppy! even when he is growling and stuffing his face with boiled potatoes!
