I agree, I thought Chan Yeong wasn't a good friend at all considering his whole thing for the last two eps was "you can tell me" and then when Heesu does, Chan Yeong lashes out and blames Heesu for his own actions. He literally almost word for word says "It's your fault I reacted the way I did"

When he said doesn't know anything about Heesu, I couldn't help but scoff and roll my eyes. As if you've ever been interested in the slightest about your friend. Granted, he didn't have to know everything like Heesu did because of course he didn't share the same type of feelings, but when he said he knew nothing about Heesu's family the same way Heesu knows about his it really goes to show how shallow his friendship was. How on earth are you going to call each other best friends if you don't mutually care about the other person's wellbeing and adjacent life events??? Both Chan Yeong and his gf were my least fav on the show (her with a begrudgingly higher score than his) . I ended up caring more about the shorter friend's relationship more than those two tbh lmao.

Also, I found it in such bad taste that he critiqued the way Heesu came out. "I could have done better." No, you couldn't have because you have never and will never be in that type of position. You'll likely never have to worry about the worst case scenario (possible physical and mental harm) when it comes to confessing and being in a relationship because your sexuality is viewed as "normal".

This better be a damn good misunderstanding because from where I'm at now, I can't stand either of them lmao. I skipped through scenes because I knew what they were going to look like and that they would frustrate me //: I keep wanting the MC to set boundaries and cut the ML off with the pretense of professionalism and for the ML to have made things clear to the MC eight years ago that things between them were going to be casual from the start before they entered a "relationship". Same. I think this is one of the few BLs where I thought to myself, 'I kinda do wish they were breaking up/forced to be separated'. It just felt more compelling that way (heavier consequences/realism of long distance and choosing what is best for yourself) + they could keep in contact (there's phones in this universe so...). If they ended up meeting each other after pursuing their dreams, that would make more sense to me but whatever I guess lol

You're not alone in this opinion even tho others seem to not share it 😅 I honestly felt more charisma from Jun personally and maybe it's just the flirting difference (me preferring more of a bantering and teasing flirtation as opposed to simple and sweet) but I did feel disappointed when I had to remind myself that Po wasn't going to end up with him because it's literally in the name of the show ahaha
