I can only hope for a "wife" chasing sequence as they call it in china 😔 I'm assuming that the arrival of his mom + the comment that he overheard about being with a guy that is the same status as him is affecting the ML's actions right now (?) He's using his childhood sweetheart as a way to "put himself on the right track" or smth. It did appear as though he was extremely anxious when the mom found out the two had been living together 🤔 (I even had the thought that she knows that her son is gay and that's why) butttt that may just be the delusional in me lmao maybe I'm like Xiao Fan and am stupidly believing that there is a reason when the reality is that the guy is an asshole through and through 😂

It's not, but I think it's more the sentiment that people are happy that it's not another high school fluff romance and instead a romance with grown adults (or, at least that's my own perspective lol)

Wrong type of therapist babe (wondering if the staff themselves thought that's what it means to have a therapist for psychological dysfunction and that's why they chose this??)... Also physical therapists are not simple masseurs, they do things like range of motion and other exercises to build strength 😭

Did I miss his previous wife/engagement announcement or whatever it was through all the hallucinations I had while watching this show or did they really just throw that at us in the last episode. Also the pain meds an additional throw in as well but then absolutely no followup or explanation whatsoever????? huuhhhhh????? ALSO THAT MEANS THIS WHOLE TIME THEY'VE BEEN HAVING AN AFFAIR??????????????

I would say there’s some intense lead-up to those scenes. It’s no KinnPorche or other NC’s from Thai bls, but considering the Korean BL’s are way more conservative, I was pleasantly surprised how well they committed to it.

yes! A little intense on the nc side too considering this is a K-BL + there's only two episodes out

I would agree with a previous comment that it was one of the best vertical drama's I've seen so far (and I've prob been able to see more than average). Perhaps it was because I came in with an aware and usual expectation of a low-budget, aka not-that-plot-driven premise these usually have that this actually surprised me. It was fairly put together (I would also agree that towards the end it got a little off track–think 4-5 short ep before the actual end of the show) but the majority of the show was well-shot, the actors did wayyyy better than I've seen other short vertical dramas do. I was able to feel the emotion coming from each character and understood their motivations. Sound track nothing outstanding, but did well to match the scenarios. If I had to recommend a single vertical drama it would be a tie between this one and Match Play. This one is much more drama heavy (more my style), the other one is more fluff.

Specifically for a good kiss scene or? Bc if so, I would recommend Time of Fever (ep. 4 has two ). I recommend the We Best Love series in general, but for the kiss scene I've come back to watch ep 2 of We Best Love: Fighting Mr. 2nd (context makes the kiss better but I guess if you don't care about that, it's around 27 min into the ep). If you're talking specifically "kinky" I can't help you there 😔 i tried looking through my already watched bc I could have swore that I had some but if I do, I can't remember what names to look for, sorry. The best I could recommend would be Revenged Love, which, amazing show regardless so I recommend anyway if you haven't already watched it
