I really liked it -shrug- it's one of those ones I think you just need to take a chance on and decide for yourself because I personally was surprised by how low of a score it has. But yes, I def agree the OST is fantastic!

I didn't piece that together at all lmao, but that makes more sense (hopefully) because the name that I saw on the text message at the end of ep 3 said 순철삼촌 or smth like that (the quality of the vid I was watching wasn't that great. I'm talking low-key like 144p ahaha, so I could be wrong about what the name of the sender actually was). Part of that name says uncle soooo 😅 I didn't understand the phone convo much and dismissed it, but I thought the person who had found out about the videos was his uncle Soon Cheol who was telling him to come home. This means that his uncle was watching his nephew's videos and then realized who it was.... 😭

Gotcha, was just curious was all. I don't really have strong opinions on this pairing myself, but I also haven't watched anything with them in it together yet.

Fresh off of ep 16 and reading this review brought some tears to my eyes as it made me relive the whole drama again. I'm not familiar with math at all (I'm a psychology major personally) but your insight into the mathematicians mentioned in this story was absolutely wonderful. It gave me so much context to the scenes I casually assumed were a simple way to introduce the characters to each other.

I also thought it a 10/10 and was wondering why it's rating was so low (though by this point, MDL no longer surprises me. In fact, it's taught me to take a chance on media that I normally would not reach for). It likely is due, as you've mentioned, the lack of the typical romance tropes and them together as an actual couple. However, just as you did, I found their journey into becoming better people the romance of the story, because of course they were becoming better people for themselves, but they also wanted to be better for the person/people they loved and with each others help and teaching, they were able to become strong enough to protect each other.

I no doubt will revisit this drama again later on because I'm positive new things will catch my eye for each rewatch.

This is random but the first time I saw Nike Nitidon Pomsuwan in this, I immediately was reminded of the late actor Lee Sun Kyun (may he rest in peace). It had me questioning later on if this show was Korean or Thai.

I see a lot of people are wishing it was someone other than Up. Who do y'all have in mind that would have been a better option in your opinion? I haven't seen this yet, it's on my to-watch list. I'm just curious who people would have preferred or thought would fit the role better

I mean, Teerak seems very naive. He didn't even realize he himself had feelings and had to look it up on the internet. It's his first time navigating a romantic situation like that, so I gave him some leniency. There's also the possibility that he could have thought it was Fah trying to become more comfortable with acting like a couple o:

Me too! I was thinking to myself "Here we go again. Muenfa is going to come back anyway,, it's not like he's going away forever." But this way it def felt more realistic that he didn't find him (because honestly, if you weren't told which gate in the airport etc, how would you find them?)

do the first couple's episodes have to be watched before watching the other couples' episodes? like, do they intersect or are they completely separate from each other?

The first couple of episodes it a little bit to get through (mostly bc of the MC's journey through character growth) but if you can get past that I would say absolutely! Even the actor Raiden Lin said in an interview to give his character a bit of leniency for the first couple of eps haha

But as of ep 11, wowwww this show has turned into something super cute and also a bit steamy!

I think it's just basically him smelling like alcohol since he was drunk, I don't think it was actually him having gross hair lol, just the alcohol smell from all the drinks (or at least that's how I saw it). On the family's side tho (when Teerak was asking his dad for a kiss), I think it's just them teasing but he doesn't actually have stinky hair

Glad that the rating has been fixed ever since that scare with 6.0 or whatever it was when this show first came out 😌

I also thought they could have ended it when Qin Xiao said he wasn't returning and left wit his suitcase in the snow. It would have been yet another "bad" ending, but it would have made more sense + been more emotional. The actual ending made me go "huh?? okay then lol" wheras the other would have been emotional/full of longing and missed opportunities. To be fair tho, I don't mind sad endings, I know that isn't the case for other people but I do think in this show it would have suited it better
