I might put in some spoilers

This drama...THIS DRAMA HAS ME BROKEN 😔 I think I invested myself way to much. I felt like I was in pain of course crying here and there, tbh I think she belonged with the second male lead instead of the main lead. Never have I hated someone so much(mainly talking about the male lead) but the fact she had to die just so both countries and both the kings to realize they can live in peace it was definitely a good drama I recommend watching this cut drama with 55 episodes instead of the 52 episodes

A Must Watch

What surprised me was there wasn’t any type of romance. Sure we saw female characters but it didn’t get to the point where we could’ve seen a wedding at the end. But I’m not mad at it. I loved the characters and the actors and actresses did an amazing job. We saw the growth from seeing them being arrogant, that they’re the top of the top. Until they get reality checks we see friendship being made, sacrifices being made, grief and how everyone handles grief differently, unity, learning to have each other back and that they aren’t alone especially in a special force that requires unity. It’s not just a one man job but a team.

Drinking in the windy snow as the snow turns to ashes. Lamenting that seperation's are irrecovable

I don't understand the hate LYN got during the drama's airing. In my honest opinion, LYN did the character justice, he became NYZ. It might be his best character drama yet. From the past dramas I've watched from him, I can see his growth, and deserves lead roles. Won't lie at first, I started this drama because of FYL. And I fell in love with the cast.

Can we talk about the growth of Princess Yang Ying, you can't tell me she and LTG weren't Ruyi and NYZ's children.

The ost's and the sound effects. Killer.

Writer Jie...What kind of ending are you giving us? You didn't have to kill half of the squad. And the ending...I am still confused about how I'm supposed to interpret the ending of the drama. Is she dreaming? Did she die? Is it a what-if? Like even the supposed kid of our main leads showed up...

Anyway, a must-watch drama, and the cast was amazing. Now I'm going to wish for a modern drama with the same cast with a happy ending. No dying this time.😅

"No one knows me as well as you do" Bai Fengxi "I will not disappoint you either." Hei Fengxi

I loved it. It will definitely be one of my top favorites.

The thing I loved about Bai-Hei Fengxi couple is their relationship. Going from knowing each other in their childhood, to knowing each other in the martial arts world, to falling in love and getting married at the end. Their whole relationship was so healthy in my own opinion. They didn't use each other in an evil way, they didn't have misunderstandings, they didn't cheat, sure they had their secrets but the end of the day they literally know each other I would say like the back of their hand. And let's not forget this man gave her ten li of floral sea when she arrived to where they were going to get married. He also kept his promise to his father-in-law, brother-in-law and their unofficial but official little brother Han Pu(I would say was their child and I will never forgive the writers.) Bai-Hei Fengxi are on par with each other.

One of Hei Fengxi lines I liked was "I belong in the court, you should roam the land freely." This man was willingly to let her go and not include her in his fight with the second queen and Feng Ju. If I remember correctly, there was a part where I think he was having a moment with Bai Fengxi which they were talking that all he knows is fighting in politics especially when it came to fighting for the throne. How he would check his food if it was poisoned, he created Fountain Abode where he would know what is going on and for him to be always prepared. He was a child when he lost his mother and after a maid through his of the ship where he drowned. Which makes me think, he would have to always watch his back with no breaks.( I would personally be tired.) First Prince never waivered, even though he wanted his mother's love he knew she trying to use him for her plans. He knew that when she gave him a plate of shrimp something and he is allergic to it.

And the plot twist of the who the villain was. The gasp I let out. I was flabbergasted.

Also Xuan Lu's character Qi Wu, not your typical second female lead. She wasn't clingy to Second Prince and accepted that they would never happen but she did end up with great friendship including with FL. She didn't over step.

Everything started with the Empyrean Token, Dadong Empire and of course has to end in Dadong Empire...

Don't get me started on Han Pu....I will not, I'm still not over it.
