After about tearing my heart out the first few episodes, I finally got to love this fantasy. There are some absolutely beautiful parts, characters are interesting, and the lore is fascinating (and some of us will be very happy to see a briefly shirtless Dylan Wang!) BUT, if you're like me and get upset easily over tragic situations, hang in there. This love story happens over multiple lifetimes, and things aren't always happy.

The ending is a bit ambiguous, but the Special (episode 37) is on YouTube (even though it's just a brief scene). If you really pay attention to what's said near the end of the last episode (or turn to Reddit like I did), you can infer what happens, and it IS a happy ending.
