So Good!
Looking to escape into a drama that will make you laugh a lot but maybe cry a little but leave feeling happy? There aren't many dramas where the ending leaves me smiling and feeling ridiculously happy and satisfied, but this one did. The Romance of Tiger and Rose is a new favorite. With how it kept me laughing while needing to know what was going to happen, it was one I couldn't stop watching. It was a bit longer than needed. Yes, it's short for a C-Drama at 24 episodes, but I felt like it could have done better with a little less of the very dramatic last 8 or so episodes. And poor Ding Yu Xi did a fantastic job acting, but the makeup (or lack of) was jarring after seeing him in other roles. Still, there wasn't much about this drama that I didn't like. It was just soooo good!

The Funniest!
The funniest drama I have ever seen! Quirky, cute, and fun. Just about everything in this show is perfect, from the cast to the humor. Even the music is great! Was this review helpful to you?
Be sure to watch the bonus ending!
After about tearing my heart out the first few episodes, I finally got to love this fantasy. There are some absolutely beautiful parts, characters are interesting, and the lore is fascinating (and some of us will be very happy to see a briefly shirtless Dylan Wang!) BUT, if you're like me and get upset easily over tragic situations, hang in there. This love story happens over multiple lifetimes, and things aren't always happy. The ending is a bit ambiguous, but the Special (episode 37) is on YouTube (even though it's just a brief scene). If you really pay attention to what's said near the end of the last episode (or turn to Reddit like I did), you can infer what happens, and it IS a happy ending.

Good but needed to be shorter
Pretty much The Fugitive but in the Josen Era. If it was 10 episodes instead of 20, this would have been a pretty solid show, especially with such a great cast (and by that I so mean more than just Lee Don Wook, even though you know he's my favorite), but it was too long and drawn out. Even so, it was fun to watch (when I wasn't wanting to scream at the repetitive plot or cringing at all the talk about poop). Was this review helpful to you?
One of my favorite endings!
I loved that there was a FL with her own goals and drive who didn't spend the whole show just trying to win over the ML. The trust and working relationship built between the two was a nice thing to see.The Scooby Doo style mystery solving got boring, so I took a break for a while. But when I came back, the last few episodes were great. The ending is now one of my all-time favorites! There were cute and flirty moments, heartfelt and tender moments, but without getting too sappy or too dark. I loved the actors, and the costumes were absolutely gorgeous.

Meh
Meh. It started cute, but the dominating and abusive behavior was hard to watch (especially when he uses his money/power to control important life choices for her or told her who she could or could not spend time with). It was very short and the ending seemed very rushed and incomplete, like a show that's been cancelled mid season but they try to give it an ending. Was this review helpful to you?
Not bad
Good character development. The story went a way I didn't see it going, which was nice. But not my favorite ending....Was this review helpful to you?
Meh
Cute but too long for what it was. It really didn't need two seasons. It could have been condensed into one. At least the ending was satisfying. Was this review helpful to you?

Short and cute
Cute but with 12 episodes (only 13 minutes long) it's not a fully fleshed out series. Was this review helpful to you?
Good but slow in the middle
Started off great but got really dumb for a while towards the end. The ending itself was fine, but getting there wasn't the best. I had to take a break from the show before I could finish it because of thisWas this review helpful to you?
Disappointing
It has a similar feel to Boys Over Flowers, but a bit better. Too much soap opera for my taste, which was disappointing because it started out really good! Was this review helpful to you?
Flirty and Ditches Annoying Tropes
So much to love about this one! A strong FL who not only has a good character arc but is also vulnerable, actually uses communication for problems, and usually acts like a mature adult. There were times I would call my daughter in to rewatch a scene because it was so satisfying to see some much hated tropes tossed on their heads. It is ssssuuuuuuper flirty! 😍 And the ML is someone you'll probably be seeing in your dreams after. Even though it is pretty steamy for a C-Drama, it's still around PG content.
I love how this drama addressed some awful relationship issues in a realistic and healthy ways and how differently the leads react to the manipulation tactics.
And the music! I'm now on the hunt for the soundtrack.

Almost perfect!
I loved seeing a female protagonist as a fighter and military strategist. The first half or so is super flirty and fun with great romance and cool fight scenes (the chemistry between the 2 leads!) The second half wasn't well balanced like the first (it does get very intense and serious), and there were some parts that were really frustrating.Overall, it's still really good (despite one or two parts making me sob). The ending is very sweet, and I love how the story came together.
