I wrote it all jumbled, jumping from one topic to another, but that’s okay.

I got angry at the part where the ML slapped the FL. The man had already hit his sister before. I don’t know why the screenwriter felt the need to write a violence scene. It’s a short 12-episode drama, so did the male character we were shown really have to be a perpetrator of violence? Couldn’t he just stay as a calm man, left untainted? Was it really that necessary? In the following scene, when the FL pushed him onto the bed, I was happy, if only she had also hit him back or thrown something at him. Because of their 10-year age difference, the ML looks more mature and older next to the FL. When his ex caressed his cheek and tried to kiss him, he didn’t stop her, he just waited. As he himself said, he does things that can easily be misunderstood. I’m trying to erase that slapping scene from my head, because it was awful! Anyway, the FL’s childish and innocent demeanor added color to their relationship, because the man has an old soul, you know? Sometimes he feels more like 41 than 31.
Still, there’s something I don’t understand: this guy went to his mother and said, “Thanks for taking care of me for 10 years,” blah blah… and when his sister acted like a complete idiot, he treated her kindly too, except for slapping her. I mean, you created a kind, non-violent character, so WHY DID YOU MAKE HIM SLAP both his girlfriend and his sister? As for the girl’s cheating, she wasn’t mature, and she made a mistake, I wasn’t surprised. But continuing her relationship with her childhood friend for a while was just ridiculous. How healthy can a relationship be when the woman is in her 20s and the man is in his 30s? Anyway… Watching the first 6 episodes was enjoyable, because I watched them in relatively good quality on a good site, and at that time both of them were really cute… like when the man hugged her while crying, that was nice.
I enjoyed the second half of the drama less because I had to watch it in 360p with French subtitles. But still, I realized that watching old Japanese romance dramas is fun, so after finishing the shows I’m watching now, I want to watch another Japanese drama from 30 years ago… 8/10. The score could have been lower since the last 2 episodes kind of ruined it and the ending was open-ended, but anyway… I guess I couldn’t be that harsh.

I'm tired of watching him villian roles. If he try something different, that would be good for his career.

That’s what I wondered too like there was absolutely NO need to make them relive their traumas even more :/
They accepted to be part of this project because they wanted all people to learn about the torture they had gone through. For me, it was highly unethical that the director tied their hands with ropes and made them repeat the act of standing upside down just to show how it looked, and that he built a replica of the house to conduct the interviews there. It should have been done in a different setting so that they would suffer less psychological damage. But I guess, for someone whose desire to make money has overshadowed the concept of ethics, this didn’t matter

It was an amazing movie. I was really surprised to see someone give it a 5, because the pacing never slowed down and it was truly enjoyable to watch. The ML is an excellent actor. Speaking of him, I also recommend Wall to Wall. The reviews are very negative, but don’t mind them—just watch it. The other actor also did a great job. Toward the end, the film makes you face a moral dilemma about what’s right and wrong. The answer is clear, of course, but still, it’s impactful. Definitely worth watching

She is particularly beautiful in this drama. I noticed that as well. She was cute in other dramas, but she’s…
