In Koreae drama perhaps, maybe even in Korean literature. But I've seen the concept in English-language literature…
Compared to the past, actors seem to be more comfortable with sexual content. For example, in old K dramas, they would only kiss in the 15th episode of a 20-episode series. So I consider this a good thing; there's a change. I did not know that, thank you for letting me know. âĄ
This was a prologue according to LSHâs social media posts⊠so the questions are meant to be there because…
Yes, absolutely. When I first saw LSH in a drama, I thought he could play a supernatural characterâlike a vampire, for exampleâreally well. And considering the plot of this series, he was a very meaningful choice đ I hope if thereâs a second season, itâll be better and give the viewers the answers to the questions they have in mind
The concept is actually original, I havenât seen anything like the whole S-Line thing in other dramas. But the finale felt really rushed. They shouldn't leave question marks in the viewersâ minds. Like, why is the FL seeing the S-Lines? Whatâs the teacher ladyâs purpose anyway? Her motivations were never made clear. And again, the ending was just too hurried. I do appreciate that it was a mini-series, no need to drag things out into 24 episodes and ruin it, but 6 episodes just werenât enough for this particular story, sadly. Lee Soo Hyukâs voice though, I love it, especially when he speaks in English, it sounds even deeper lol. And MY SHAYLAAA, did that kid really have to die?? The teacher was absolutely stunning, by the way, when she appeared on stage with that red lipstick, I was in awe. The FL is gorgeous too, but man, that girl really went through it. Overall, 5/10.
I wasn't expecting to see bad comments about this movie. I love it. I wish we'd seen ML's friend from work just once; that's not a very important detail, of course. And didn't the psychopathic journalist call the police while ML was hiding under the bed, and then the cops never came. Anyway, the movie was pretty good. I really liked the metaphorical elements.
It was a very different project than I expected. I liked the acting of the lead actress (1st FL), and I think the role suited her well. Instead of always choosing female leads from the same 20 actresses in the industry, it would be better if new actresses were cast, like in this drama. What caught my attention was someone creating a different alter ego for herself and hiding behind a mask to live a different life, to be honest. But the story went in a completely different direction, it got tangled and complicated, so I ended up watching the rest of the episodes by skipping and fast-forwarding after the first two. Itâs not a bad drama at all, in any way, but I honestly didnât care about what happened to the FLâs or MLâs families. The only enjoyable parts for me were the episodes featuring NANA, especially watching the female dancer who was also a dancer like her. And I noticed that Yeom Hye-ran and Cha Chung-hwa look alike. For a while, I thought I was watching Cha Chung-hwa, lol. 6.5/10
Ehh. He is not a bad person but throughout the drama he made couple of mistakes, at least for me. But in the end of the day, he is only 18. I can understand him.
They didnât show Deaumâs death, I thought they would. But maybe it was better this way. The scene with his best friend by the hospital bed was beautiful. I wish she had watched White Love at the cinema with the director. Deaum was a sunshine. It was a beautiful series, slow and delicate. I also liked the development of the side characters. Especially the female character whoâs an actress, she looks beautiful even with short hair. And the male lead is an incredible actor with an amazing voice tone; he literally acts with his eyes. The female leadâs acting was also outstanding.
When the CEO imitated that creepy guy with the glasses and went 'yaa', I totally lost it. For the first time, the CEO actually acted like a decent human being, good job.
No matter how much you empathize with FLâs pain among people who still have their whole lives ahead of them, no one can ever truly understand what sheâs been through. While she cries out, saying she wants to live, the helplessness of the others...
