I'm glad im not the only one who noticed, and yes thats what im trying to say i want some variety cos so far all scenes have been shot almost identical with each other. All these scenes have some kind of purpose and nuance in the novel, here some of it just felt repetitive and lacking in purpose (i still don’t get what the point of the one in ep8). And again its just sad cos we see the actors behind the scene obviously more than willing to do what needs to be done but ends up being directed the same way and edited poorly too at times. Still keeping my hopes up for the next one, hopefully different this time 😁
And yes i'll still be here anyway, tortured (by the wait) and seated for the next ep 😂

It definitely has that magic for me, as i’ll admit i’m a bit obsessed with it right now lol Best part for me is the cast and their chemistry with each other whether onscreen or offscreen and the plot which is engaging and unique though abit dragged out in the first half. Overall i still love this show and im (im)patiently waiting every week 😂
I really adore this show and the actors so its really frustrating to see how lacking sometimes the editing/directing of this show is especially on the intimate scenes of the main couple. I just realized now why some of those scenes felt flat to me, it always comes down to the editing and directing and how it feels repetitive. The drunk scene of SY with jealous HY (ep7) and the scene where HY forced SY into heat in that meeting (ep8) almost felt like the same scene recycled. Same with the X hotel scene (ep9) and the marking scene in the last ep, somehow you can be forgiven for thinking its from the same scene with the way they edit except for the dialogue. Someone pointed out that they even use the same music on these scenes. And so far all these scenes have SY being drunk or in a fugue state which adds to them being super similar. What i mean is its always SY (in a fugue state) lying in bed being kissed and devoured by HY, don’t get me wrong its not bad but at some point it kinda feels repetitive. Even the BTS of all these scenes sometimes feel identical and from the same one scene. I really hope they improve on this on their next scene where they conceive Peanut, as i think that will be the first where SY is 100% conscious and into it. I'm hoping they wont do the same style from the past episodes and give us something new, maybe a different setting, position, place idk lol
And again seeing the BTS of all these scenes you see how both actors are 1000% giving their all and the editing and directing team not giving them justice at all is a bit frustrating. I get that they're restricted by censorship and all but im sure they can do better than this. At this point we already know the main couple can kiss, please be creative and do something new 😅

I can’t believe people still found another reason to hate HY by blaming him for the 2nd cp’s relationship, if anything he’s been much more helpful to them here in the series especially compared to the novel. In the novel he kinda gave me “i don’t really care/not interested” attitude towards SWL’s relationship with GT but in the series i felt he cared for both of them. I get he could’ve knocked some more sense into SWL but how could he have known and its not his fault SWL is so slow and deep in his denial.
And i’ve said it before SWL and GT’s lack of proper and honest communication is the problem, such a reach to blame it on HY 😅 i love the 2nd cp but come on its stupid to blame it on anyone but them and their childhood traumas

I’ve read somewhere that Ocean used to be a douyin online model/seller/host. Thats why he’s very good with talking and keeping the atmosphere lively, i’ve actually seen a clip of him modeling different outfits for a live online selling 😊 i heard someone saw him from one of this and saw his similarities with SWL so they recommended him.
Even if they don’t show us baby (as in baby, not toddler) Lele and Peanut in the show, i’m really hoping they can maybe atleast post some bts of those photos the 4 of them posted with a baby for chinese children day cos i think and it looks so cute and heartwarming 🥹
With only four episodes left, theres only been a few of those toxic die hard 2nd cp fans left commenting the same repetitive sentence since halfway through this show (compared to before) and i’ve also seen few toxic fans of the main couple saying the same thing abt the 2nd cp too. It looks like they just comment that line every week and leave cos they’re not even active in this page. I think we should just block and ignore those instead of giving them the attention they’re seeking, this page have been mostly peaceful these past weeks with only a few of those toxic comments anyway. I love the 2nd cp too and believe me it irks me when i see those types of comments, it obviously just wants both fandoms to fight/insult the other.
P.S remember those times when 1-2 toxic accounts appear a day or two after an episode drops just to post hateful comments and magically get high likes? Yeah good times 😂
