I’m only on episode 6 and I’m enjoying it. Sounds like this has a slow burn romance which is not your cup…
Not exactly, slow burn is when the love between the leads grow slowly but constant, the plot work to create moments of spark between the leads. There is something else always going on, but it is not the main plot, the main plot are the leads. Take for example Story of Ming Lan, Love like Galaxy, Go Ahead, Sword and Brocade, the list goes on. But here is more like a crime solving plot, in the sense that everything that happens in the drama is there to create a new investigation case, with some romance there, but until now there is nothing really romantic and FL only gives weird and scared looks to the ML, which is weird and a huge turn off. That is my opinion.
What makes me engaged on this interesting drama is its slow burn romances which follow the characters as they…
Take the fireworks scene for example, how far they are from each other, their chairs is not even close, no romantic build up to make you fell the vibe even when the ship is not sailed. This is not how you do slow burn, there is nothing burning here.

Slow burn IS my cup of tea, but here romance is not even the priority of the plot, not even a slow burn. Again, most of the drama the leads are so far apart that is hard to fell any chemistry between them.
girl this aint a western drama where the leads get together in the first ep.
Lol I’m not into western dramas. And I have watched many slow burn dramas like, for example, Story of Ming Lan, but the leads had much more romantic moments before the ship sailed. So, no, this argument does not justifies the problem with this drama in my opinion.
I’m on ep 20. Few skinship, female lead still soes not have feelings, the supposed romantic moments are turned into comedy or weird (sucking venom) moments. Really, I’m getting tired, I’m not feeling it here. The lead is handsome ok, but the plot just wastes potential with the leads always one meter apart from each other.
I’m I the only worried about the female cast? NIF 1 had a amazing female cast and characters, while NIF 2 had Tong Lia but the character was not as amazing as in the first season. So, I really hope NIF 3 has good female characters because I really missed it while watching NIF 2.

For me the ending is pretty clear. The Princess go to the place where they fought and died, so there she meets their spirits, and in the afterlife they had a boy.
Ok, the ending left me with a sour taste, but like in Nirvana in Fire, I was prepared because the story lead to it, but still...so sad...it was a good journey, may the heroes be remembered.
South Korean society is sick, I have long being unable to fully enjoy their entertainment because while watching my mind always brings these cases as of reminding me what reality is like there. I wish he just had left this country with his wife and started a new life elsewhere, open a small restaurant, be happy and free. Another soul lost to corruption, so sad.
but acting with violence is not justifiable because the fl in any moment meant to harm him or her body, and she…
No, people didn’t expected to him believe her without further research or to be ok with her being a time traveler. But being violent is another thing. He does not need to be friendly, but the violent and aggressive behavior is what pull people off.
