I just visited too lol Im surprised it dropped, it used to be 9.0. Eternal Love too. Now the hightest Xianxia is LBFAD with 8.9!

I really feel like reading a novel while watching this drama because is so well written. For instance, when they show them running from one city to another, dramas usually won’t show these scenes. How the boys were lured from their house so the void could attack the girls, Man Man burying, the scenes planning their daily lives, to have these on the drama give depth to the story and makes us care even more for the characters, so every scene is worthy and I don’t have the urge to skip any.

Yes, but the happy ending on LBFAD is hardly a happy ending, it was more like last five seconds of happy ending. And I still think they only did the specials because of the uproar after that ending, because it didn't had any new or deleted scene, it was like an audio minidrama.

youku keep getting hits drama, like the blood of youth and now this drama. they sure have a good eyes for dramas.
I think Youku dramas usually lack production but have the best writing and stories, IQIY have good production but less engaging stories (IMO) and Wetv have the best production and CGI, some good stories, but the worst writing most of the time.
