Keep watching some episodes it will probably grow on you as the story develops if not, it is not for you. But the ML really shines after ep 12.

I watched CXX in Goodbye My Princess in a almost ruthless psychotic character and in Fall in Love as a scheming playboy, but this time he is blowing my mind with YQ, how can he be so naturally charming? He smiles in the right time, his eye gaze, boy brought all his rizz game to this drama, and is even more charismatic when he builds YQ expressions like that when we all know how powerful YQ is, so different from the usual Xianxia cold ML. When CXX smiles to YT is not a innocent smile, is a seductive smile with so much emotion is his eyes. Amazing acting by CXX.
