I didn't hate it but didn't really like it either. It felt uneven, comedy was hit or miss and I just couldn't connect to the story emotionally.

I'm sorry but that poster is VERY bad. Totally looks like they had an intern rush to design it.

KTR was amazing as usual in episode 8, but I personally think the tonal shift was a little too sudden and unnatural. I really want to see JN grow up and stop being so simple-minded, because that's what she needs to survive in the industry and not follow the steps of her mom. It shouldn't be a problem since after all, she literally has the 2 most important people in the troupe on her side (girl is so lucky without even realising it lol).

Also, I'm slightly disappointed that Hyerang is turning out to be pretty much a one-dimensional villain. She and Okgyeong genuinely look great together and have that sexual tension, and I would have loved a complex and deeper relationship. I guess I'm asking too much since this show isn't really about them.

I really hope this is genuinely well-written, almost all the Netflix originals from SK have disappointed me this year.

Lmao, I relate to all your thoughts here though I won't necessarily blame the director for this mess. I think he tried enough to save this script with the artistic atmosphere and shots, all the fuck ups lie in the writing to me.

I wasn't even that fond of him as a character, but really, the writer was just toying with him at the end lol. Like they made him depressed and sad for a few episodes straight and straight up bullied him in the last episode lmao.

It suddenly occurred to me how much more satisfied I would be if they changed the plot from the halfway mark and made Eunho and Jion end up together, and ex-boyfriend has no choice but to sit at their wedding sulking because he's his 'brother'. Most of all, she PROVES it to his face that she doesn't need him to be happy. Ah, the wasted potential!

This isn't the first show of hers that I dropped but it sure is the first one that made me this mad 😤

They introduce a broken and complex female protagonist, her lifelong trauma, and her seemingly getting over a past unhealthy relationship that contributed to her mental illness. Then suddenly, 80% of it is about her ex's family, how his sob backstory made him treat her this way, his feelings, blabla. And the purpose of this is to show how them getting back together is justified. Then she suddenly recovers and all the problems in her life are resolved. Yeah, NO.

I truly feel sorry for the cast and directors who tried their best to salvage this mess. I did appreciate a lot of the cinematography and shots in general. But most of all I feel sorry for SHS, as she's the only one who has her face shown on the poster, and FOUR TIMES at that. Like in the future when people talk about the worst kdramas they ever watched, people are gonna say "Do you know that one AWFUL show where Shin Hye Sun had split personalities?" Unfortunately that's exactly how it's going to be remembered, "that bad SHS show". And she probably didn't even know she was signing up for a hot mess, and did a lot of the heavy lifting acting-wise. It's tragic.

I'm just gonna erase her latest drama from my memory and look forward to her next show with Lee Joon-hyuk. SHS deserves WAY better than that script.

Okay, so Eun-ho barely even appears in episode 9... Why is the show focusing more on the ML lately? Controversial stuff about him aside, his scenes and backstory are actually the dullest of the whole show. I want to see more of EH's past, her relationship with her sister and grandma, how the events shaped her and how she dealt with it all over the years. They've only skimmed the surface of her backstory to explain her disorder, but what about her as a person before she met the ML? Isn't this show supposed to be about her?

I'm cackling at how people are finding this quote beautiful and deep 2 comments down, while you are getting creeped tf out by it. We really can have completely different views of the exact same thing 😂

Episode 8 is the definition of severe depression and down spiraling. I hope this isn't where the story takes us because it would be way too heavy, but if this were in real life, the next step she takes would likely be self-harm or... an extreme choice. It doesn't help that people suffering from DID are especially prone to this.

I am not really interested in the romance in this drama, but if she's ending up with the ML, I need a genuine reason to believe she wouldn't suffer in their relationship moving forward. At least, JY and EH is a possibility that has yet to be explored. His harsh words to her in the cafe were very hurtful, but understandable in that situation. My preference would be that she doesn't end up with anyone.

Right? It's one thing to be sabotaged by a douchebag boss who wants you replaced. But when the superior who's worked with you for many years and is supposed to be "nicer", still doesn't really care to listen to what you have to say, it... gets to you. 14 years of that kind of workplace treatment will tear down your self-esteem.

I don't think I have seen a single character in this show take her seriously as a person, maybe apart from Jion at the start. Juyeon basically cut her off and emphasized that he only cared if "Hyeri" came back. The only people who truly thought highly of her was Hyeri, and her grandma... *sobs*

WHY ARE YOU SO MEAN TO HER, WRITER??? 😭

We can root for her as a character, but I can't say the same about her relationship with ML 😂
