I think what bothered me was thinking two wrongs don't make a right. Where was mercy even if that pos was unrepentant.
I think that's the point though. After all, she's the devil and isn't trying to deliver justice or do things the "right" way. My problem is more that I'm somehow not deriving much entertainment from this.
This is delivering what it has promised, but I'm not enjoying it as much as I expected. I know it's meant to be satisfying to watch the criminals get their comeuppance, but it's not working much for me. I don't even know why. Maybe I'm just not sadistic enough, lol. I'm also not sure if the demon's logic on what constitutes murder makes much sense. It just sounds like a convenient way to tone down the story and make her character less messed up.
guysss wild guess i have the feeling that hyeyeon maybe is eunho’s missing sister, hyeri. Like the real hyeri…
I think you may be on to something but if it's true, that's a pretty far-fetched plot ngl. Imagine your long-lost missing sister actually has the same job as you and is working in a nearby company lol. I feel like I would prefer the plot to be them growing close due to the connection with Juyeon, Eunho finds Hyeyeon similar in personality to Hyeri and gives her the affection she couldn't give to her sister - which heals her in the process. That would be realistic and a refreshing narrative between a FL and 2FL who (kinda) like the same guy.
A lot of people here don't appreciate it being used in a rom-com. I personally hate it when writers throw in cancer…
Well, that's because I was blindsided by the cancer thing like I said, which is why I'm pissed lol. I would have continued if the cancer wasn't introduced... but I'm dropping it now. Hope you'll continue enjoying it though!

The show led us to believe it was the workplace bullying and her re-evaluating her life purpose/goals that led her back home. These are very valid and relatable issues, and having a mid-life crisis is already quite heavy if you ask me.
Maybe it hasn't been used as a plot device yet, but I'm 90% sure it's going to play out like how I expect it to and piss me off eventually. Because there wouldn't be any other reason to introduce this subplot. The part where she pushes away ML's hand is the first sign. Also becos I don't have much faith in the writer.
It's so weird to me that people see cancer as lazy writing when so many people either get cancer or know some…
A lot of people here don't appreciate it being used in a rom-com. I personally hate it when writers throw in cancer as a plot device for a romance. They're clearly using the illness as an emotional baggage she has towards her ex. I can imagine this show will also be using it as a shortcut to finally get the FL's family and ML to treat her better (they should have with or without the cancer). My mom has also experienced breast cancer and I don't think she liked being reminded of her past struggles when watching a supposedly light-hearted show.
The writer clearly has run out of ideas because seriously??? 🤦♂️ Yeah, I'm dropping this. I've already had issues with the writing and this is the final nail in the coffin.
Me too. Makeup, hairstyle and fashion can do wonders in changing up one's image. Just look at how Jang Nara rocked…
JNR is indeed very versatile, but most people know her by her innocent look and image, even now. So I was just using her as an example of a cuter looking actress rocking a bold look.
Also this is the drama airing right after Good Partner, unfortunately she can't lead 2 consecutive SBS dramas lol.
The scene where he was following her at night didn't sit right with me. She got scared and started running, and when she asked why he didn't just call out to her, he basically shifted the blame to her and went "You could have just looked back to check". The girl was genuinely scared for her safety, is it that hard to say "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you"? Even if bickering is how they usually communicate, that wasn't the appropriate time. Then he goes on to talk about how this is "their problem" of not communicating properly. Like sorry dude, but I think it's mostly just you. 😑 I'm really trying not to dislike the ML, but the writer's not helping sometimes...
Yeah, that lasted about 3 seconds... It's mostly been her chopping and placing the food. I didn't even see her cook those noodles that they said were so delicious.
Oh no. Why am I liking the ex-girlfriend, that just appeared one episode ago, more than the ML? Sorry but dude was being an obnoxious man child, to someone who didn't even do anything to warrant that treatment! And I thought the relationship was progressing nicely last week 😩
Atp I would prefer if they stayed away from e/o now and she just focused on her cooking, which reminds me - We didn't even see her properly cook yet, chopping onions doesn't count!
This show is ticking so many boxes for me! It's funny because I totally thought this would be lame/childish/bad judging by the trailers and promos, I only checked it out for Shin Min-ah but I was proven wrong. I am genuinely charmed by the characters, the humor is tasteful and the show is embracing its silliness, and this fake marriage thing is actually working as a plot device and doesn't feel forced at all. I got flutters at today's ending scene. I've been disappointed by so many recent hyped shows, so I just love it when something actually exceeds my expectations! Now I'll just hope that it maintains this quality ☺️
The young actress playing the daughter was a Baeksang winner earlier this year (for another drama).
Yep, I know. She played a genius and savage little girl and I remember being amazed that she could memorize so many lines lol. She's grown a lot taller since then.
I would have preferred if she got rid of her bangs for a new and fierce look
Me too. Makeup, hairstyle and fashion can do wonders in changing up one's image. Just look at how Jang Nara rocked her look in Sell Your Haunted House. It's a bit disappointing that they didn't take the opportunity to do a bolder transformation for her
Why are there ninjas cutting onions in my house when her daughter cries... I can't with these stupid adults (her father and his side chick) making the sweet girl suffer! Why are these korean child actresses so damn good 😭
