Yeah, her character was quite superficial I think. Maybe she moves on quickly, but she was a little self absorbed.

I really want her to star in a thriller / mystery soon with an actor of equal acclaim. She does not care about the popularity of her co stars and neither do I, but I do wish to see her with a cast of great acclaim if only to see a boost in her popularity among kdrama audience

Definitely. She really has had a hard time too because of that but she is amazing

It was very touching and portrayed both the struggles of the teachers and students well. I love that the characters weren't written in black and white. The portrayal of In Jae by Jang Nara and Se Chan by Daniel was very, very good. I loved their dynamic and how they both learned from each other. Anyone who thinks either of them were annoying really missed out on the whole point - what makes a good teacher, or what a teacher is.

I loved the students' friendships. I wasn't really big on the bromance, since sometimes it did go towards the cheesy side, but it was a heartwarming aspect. Overall an 8/10 drama with a lot of lessons and moving moments.

Episode 8 is mind blowing. In the sense that my suspicions do come true and i wasn't surprised at all but the whole craziness that ensued which made sense

I am still surprised that the only thing people take this drama for was the extra marital affairs and don't look into the important discussion it has about relationships and work + how well this rather ordinary story unfolded through clever camerawork and editiny.

That I know. It is that I'm confused about his "serious" act as soon as he got out. He was going through withdrawal, and acted in a way that gave him the name "Looney". When he was released, despite the withdrawal, he wasn't acting out of sorts but being serious and himself

With the positives out of the way, I think it was, in the end, a good watch, but not a masterpiece. I would have loved it more had it been a comedy while showing the dark place prison is. Making light of that while they suffer would have been more... ambitious. For example, the start was pretty dark, and I expected this to pick up from there - you could see the effect prison was having on Je Hyuk; however, it toned down quick. So whenever someone said "Of course I'm having a hard time too," I couldn't believe them because that aspect was never really explored.

If anyone sees this, was Looney just acting silly throughout the drama because he wasn't so as soon as he was released. I am a little confused about him

This was really a good watch. The comedy was hit the mark, the emotional parts weren't overdone and moved you, the characters in the prison were the best. I wasn't into the romance that was going on for Jae Hyuk at the side for several reasons, and thankfully it didn't take up a lot of screentime. You grow to love the dynamics of the prisoners. Looney was such a breath of fresh air - his timing with his little comments was perfect.

The drama got slow at certain points - I found myself skipping through them. Despite that, the story was solid, and so was the acting. If you enjoy slice of life with a twist, watch this. It was wholesome ironically - afterall, it's black comedy.

I love Seo kyung and Do Won a little too much. I know OCN will break our hearts but the hug he gave her in episode 5 teaser? I'm weak for that ;-; I physically need them to kiss before any tragedy happens

I love the seo kyung of the second world. She is bold and smart. And her attire is realistic! I know, I know, it's like I'm reducing her to her clothes, but after watching female detectives wearing heels at work, I'm glad we had a realistic attire here. I'm a sucker for a female lead who is determined, upfront, and cold without losing her sense of morality. Soo-jin is doing a great job at making her character someone you can like
