There was so much hype about the author having a say in casting, the book is going to be followed, so I was expecting to be SLAYED, yet it was nice but I was not blown away. I am working on putting the hype disappointment on the side and enjoying the rest of the season.
Episode 1 wasn't bad and I'll continue watching, but I miss the old cast too. I don't think the new Phana and Wayo have chemistry, nor does the new Wayo and Ming . I think the new cast will grow on me, I just don't understand why so many people think it was amaaaaaazing.
This is the only bl drama I've watched in fast forward so far I find Third's character a little pathetic and khai…
I think this is being done on purpose. I hate rom-coms, but the mains love them, and even the episodes are titled after them. The ideal love story for Third and many women are what happens in rom-coms. In what other genre can you go from a street prostitute to being with a handsome rich guy (Pretty Woman). I don't recognize the plot cliches because I haven't seen the movies they are coming from (like the cue card scene).
Khai can be "cruel" but just like in real life, women stand in line for it. Third is like anybody else with an unrequited love, but he is actually smarter than some, because he didn't let himself get sucked in when Khai was testing him, and I know of people who would. I just wish that they didn't add the hetero subplots that weren't in the original story.
So far I'm not impressed.Inevitably I'm comparing to Season 1.Pros:This version of Bean seems a bit more savvy.Cons:The…
It was good, and I'll keep watching, but I don't feel that it was as amazing as people are writing. It took me a while to adjust because these actors are more pretty-boy than the first version cast. I agree that the new Phana is not gorgeous like Godt, which makes the squealing scenes a little unbelievable. Also, his facial expressions don't express what he's feeling. We went from Phana bullying Wayo, to all of a sudden caring about him, and Ben's facial expressions did not change. I'm actually surprised that so many people are so over the top in love with this reboot. I guess that I expected more since they are not starting from scratch.
In fairness though, I'm more invested in Theory of Love right now, so it's hard to switch focus, but I think that it will get better once the Ming x Kit and Forth x Beam couples are the focus.
Something similar happened in the British 1990's film "Get Real" with a different response. I'm glad that things…
I really liked it because even though it was ****spoilers***** bittersweet, when someone refuses to remain in the closet, it's a victory, even if the relationship may not survive. Get Real was released 20 years ago, so it may have been a different movie today. It has the realism (bullying, closeted married men, meeting at the toilets in a small town) but also shows the struggle of being in the closet, especially when you're the golden boy.
Okay. I just watched Ep. 7 again. In that scene, Korn was seriously flirting with Pete just before they started…
I agree. Korn can handle his alcohol, it's Knock who can't. In TWM, Bright made a pass at Korn and Korn pushed Bright off and punched him and both of them were drunk. That night, Farm ended up with Bright. That's why I didn't buy the Korn was drunk excuse. Korn had comer's regret and asked Pete not to tell Knock.

I'm honestly curious, why are people ok with Knock forgiving Korn for what he did but not Cho forgiving Yihwa.…
Everybody should breakup and move on, but that isn't going to happen. I didn't see Korn getting a pass, on this board, I saw the opposite. Many people want Korn and Knock to break up, but we know this series is their story. and know it isn't going to happen. I did see rationalization of "realism" but even some of those people want them to break up.
The difference is that Yihwa had an ongoing affair (started as emotional) while Korn had a one night stand. Cho has always been considerate boyfriend and treated her kindly, while Knock has been written as an immature, lazy boyfriend. I give credit to Yihwa for breaking up with Cho though. Also, the Yihwa story is the same old hetero melodrama with the older, powerful man, seducing the younger, innocent female subordinate. The seducer becoming more aggressive and somewhat obsessed. Who will she choose? Viewers have been complaining about this type of lazy writing all season.
This season had potential to be about couples sticking together through adversity but ended up such a letdown. The acting this season has been great and they really deserved better storylines.
I like your predictions. I would be interested in hearing your predictions about the other messy couples. Korn…
Thanks for the predictions. I will still be upset with Korn because in TWM, a drunk Korn was able to resist Bright and he wasn't even engaged to Knock. This season he sleeps with Pete, the boss, while engaged to Knock. We still haven't seen the dog that's in the publicity stills, so that remains in the future.
I hope that Yihwa realizes how overbearing Art is. In reality, a lot of young women think that an older, possessive, successful guy being so forward is the fairy tale. Yihwa used to be smarter than that, but we'll see. It would be breaking the girl code if Fai got together with Cho, but Yihwa cheating would justify it for Fai and Cho.
As the older man, I hope that Bright releases Farm to be happy. Since Rit and Farm are in all the fan services, they will probably end up together.
Since this season only as 3 episodes left, I have to say that this board has some of the most impressive BL viewers around, and I've enjoyed reading the comments. I've been more entertained here than by drama itself. Thanks everybody!
First and foremost, the majority of comments here are hate the script-writer for coming up a ridiculous story…
It's true that Yihwa had a physical and emotional affair. Cho has already told her that he will forgive her and I felt really bad for him. It's ironic that Korn comforted him.
We still don't know what Rit talked to Bright about in episode 9, so that's still a mystery. It looks like Farm is worried about the doctor expoiting Rit, but we'll have to wait and see.
Jay is a homophobe, but if his only exposure to gay men is his workplace, I can see why he is so ignorant. Like Jay's friend told Korn, "One guy in the afternoon, another guy in the evening." I'm not sure this is the "realism" that peole want to justify and rationalize. This adds "proof" for people like Jay and Korn's dad.

I come for the comments. I stay for the comments. @bakaao, I like the idea of trying to guess the ending because…
I like your predictions. I would be interested in hearing your predictions about the other messy couples. Korn and Knock will have a happy ending because Knock will have the epiphany. We only saw one PDA sequence with them but it was a dream where we had to witness Korn x Pete doing it in reality. It would have softened the cheating had the director thought to cut in flashback scenes of Korn and Knock being lovey dovey. Remind us who we are rooting for!
I wanted to add that after the shoulder massage while peeing in the urinal (Thunder TV trailer), I hope that Cho is at HR reporting Pete instead of being at the hospital waiting room. For being the straight guy, he's the only one who recognises a come on.
Pete is the person who put the wrong oil in the machine. That company's safety protocols are out of whack. You need hardhats but you walk around with an open bottle of oil. Plus they aren't wearing safety glasses.
I hope that Knock finds a job at Ocean Electric with Arthit or Siam Polymer working the Kongpob's dad.

I'm not so sure that Bright and Farm end up together. All of the fan meet stuff is Farm x Rit.
Cho should not wait around for Yihwa to make up her mind. Since she's still so torn, he should let her go. Take off the ring and move on.
I'll miss the comments more than the series. Sorry to see this come to an end.
