I just want to clarify a couple of things about this new version.I saw people saying they expected the actors…
When the author got involved in casting, they made it clear the choices will be better, otherwise, they could have just recast Godt and everybody would have been fine. As far as the author goes, when it comes to our children, sometimes parents can't be objective. Her choices are ok, but not spectacular in MY opinion, just as you are entitled to love the new cast. I'm not going to watch the show anymore (I didn't even watch Ep 3) , so it doesn't matter to me, but since you giving your assessment, I wanted to point out the promises of acting improvement made, that did not come through in MY opinion.
I'm not sure if I'm even going to finish the series because of the fandom, since nobody is "allowed" to have an…
You're one of the few of the fandom who will actually engage in a civil debate. If the fans hated Season 1, that's fine, but we were promised more - major improvements in the cast, and it didn't happen (in my opinion). Forth has better chemistry with Yo that Pha, the acting is awkward, but fans are acting like this is an academy award worthy show. People ARE acting like it's a masterpiece, while it's more on par with 2 Moons. That's MY opinion, but I'm not "allowed" that in this fandom. That doesn't mean that I hate the show, but if the fans are toxic, the show is attracting that toxicity, so it is toxic.
Come at me if you want...but .....Geezus ..some of you people really take the fun out of things. If some people…
I'm not sure if I'm even going to finish the series because of the fandom, since nobody is "allowed" to have an opinion that is critical and you must hate Season 1. I haven't watched Ep 3 yet, but came here to see if things have calmed down, but it's gotten worse.
I really like the juxtaposition between Third's POV and now Khai's POV. Third is more melodramatic because he's…
I hate rom-coms and date movies (I haven't seen any of the movies the episode titles are named after), so I can relate to Khai, but I can't help but want Third to get his HEA. Theory of Love is interesting in that one of the leads has to emotionally process falling in love with somebody who is outside of his sexual orientation, especially his best friend. I like that the show gave some screen time to this, rather than just making it a 2 second mention. Also, the acting is really good, especially Gun.
I wanna know... is there anyone here on #TeamKhai other than me?
I'm both team Third and team Khai. Up until the "testing" I gave Khai a pass because it wasn't his fault if his male best friend is in love with him. The testing thing was a douche move, but younger people sometimes make those kinds of mistakes when they are confused by somebody else's feelings. His kiss with Third hit him and now he needs time to process his feelings. Third needed to move on 2 years, 11 months ago, but again, I've know people in real life who always get their feelings hurt by the object of their affection but can't cut the line. Third and Khai have some of the best friends in the world, who love them unconditionally. The friendship angle of this series is great.
100/10. This is the first time that I have watched a Thai BL Drama and, I have no words. The plot, the flow, and…
You might like Waterboyy the series. It's a different type of angst though, not unrequited love. Together with Me, and Together with Me the Next Chapter. People were pissed off with the Next Chapter. You will need to watch Together with Me first though. Bad Romance introduced viewers to the couple, even though they were already a couple and Together with Me is how they got together.
Do you really think the acting in first season was better? You're the first person I heard this... I don't think…
I know this, but the acting is still better. Bas was a new actor, but he wasn't given a pass for his acting skills, he was slammed for it. His being held to a higher standard is one of the inconsistencies,

@Liz - I agree with your statement. Neither version is a masterpiece and I think that Godt's inability to put aside his discomfort with kissing, etc, didn't help the series. I watched the preseason episodes and these actors seem to be nice people who want to do a good job. That's why I'm still watching because I know they are trying. I'm glad that you are connecting with the characters. I think that things will get better when the other couples are the main focus. To be honest, I watch Theory of Love first and that may set me up because the acting is really good on that series. I watch the raws even though I don't speak Thai. Next week I'll watch 2 Moons first and see if it helps.
I would agree that the acting this season isn't amazing, but I think both seasons are pretty equal in terms of…
People are saying they love it compared to last season, instead just saying they love it and that the acting is so much better, when it isn't. I want this cast to succeed, but it doesn't have to be at the expense of the other actors.
I agree that some BL has bad acting because they cast really young actors who are probably cast mostly for their looks. That's why it was a joy to watch Perth in Love by Chance, who at age 17, gave the role of Ae life, instead of being awkward while acting with Saint.
I personally think that the first cast and this cast are equally as bad--you can tell they are not seasoned actors,…
I'm ooold and I agree. My main critique that I do not see a major acting improvement, especially with the hype of author's having casting approval. I'm more interested in the collective psychology of people saying how much better the acting is this season. I'm confused by it, but hope that as the focus shifts to the other couples, things will improve.

No, but this season isn't deserving of the crazy praise either because with the author choosing the cast, I should be literally mesmerized by the performances. I am judging this cast because the author was so vocal about not liking the first season, and I'm finding that her vision isn't any deeper than the original. Maybe people are seeing what they want to see if they think this season is so much better. The car keys in the mouth scene this season was super cringy with the daydream sequence and the mediocre acting. Not saying this season sucks, but in my opinion, it isn't as awesome as people are saying. The acting is still weak and these guys aren't starting from scratch and have the author's blessing, unlike Season 1. Just my opinion, we don't have to agree.
2 Moons has a very special place in me. It is the first BL series that I've seen. I enjoyed it then and I still…
My expectations for this season were too high because I expected more after all of the hype of the author participating in casting. I'm enjoying the series but I'm still confused by the over the top love for this season. I'm still more puzzled by that than anything. In my opinion, the acting isn't better or that much better than the first cast. Plus that cast had to start from scratch, and probably a much lower budget.
Wayo - I liked Bas, but Earth is a better actor. Bas pulls at my heartstrings because he is an underdog and it seems like he has to support his family, which is why he works so hard. Bas didn't even finish school and go to university like most of the actors. Bas is a good comedic actor and has really improved. I actually think being paired with Godt brought his performance down. Watching the behind the scenes shows this. This season, I think that Wayo has more chemistry with Forth in these 2 episodes, but hopefully that will change.
Phana - Godt is gorgeous and I could see the university girls forming a fan club for him, but his acting is not great. Ben is not the greatest actor either and when Phana is bullying Wayo, or flirting with Wayo, it's all the same to me. He is cute though and he is a better actor than Godt. I think that the kissing scenes will be better because in the BTS, you can see that Godt did not want anything to do with kissing Bas (in character, not in real life) and that reflected in the final product.
Ming - I like Kimmon but I think Joong is doing a good job. I don't think that his chemistry with Earth is as good as Bas and Kimmon, but I think that he is doing a good job.
Kit - I prefer Copter because he did a great job a a tsundere. Although Nine is cute, he isn't as good at playing a tsundere as Copter was. He just doesn't seem annoyed enough with Ming, but it will probably get better once they have more scenes together.
Beam - I haven't seen enough of his character to form an opinion. I will need to see him with Forth to see what the chemistry is like.
Forth - The first episode I was struggling to adjust to him, mostly due to his looks. I really liked Tae as Forth and felt he was more bad-ass/rough looking. I thought that the new Forth was way too pretty-boy to play Forth. However, out of the new cast, I believe he is the best actor because I'm coming around to him. I like how he flirted with Wayo and unlike Pha, I could tell that Forth was Flirting with Yo. Phoom is drawing me in with his performance, and I think that I'll enjoy watching him in scenes with Beam.
I like both seasons, but I am not as excited about this one. I binge watched the first season (I started watching after the series started), but I don't feel as excited about this one. Maybe that will change after the other 2 couples are the main focus.
I'm going to have to stop reading the YouTube comments because the acting this season is not any better, and I still don't understand why everybody is going overboard with praise. I may need to watch this before Theory of Love because the acting in that show is so much better. When Kit wanted to go after Ming, I really missed Copter in this scene, because the Nine didn't look annoyed enough. Also, Wayo's daydreaming was bad. Maybe it's in the novel, but it's distracting. Two references made to fair skin may be proving someone's point. The new Forth is growing on me, not as bad ass as Tae, but he brings his own charm to the character.
Episode 1 wasn't bad and I'll continue watching, but I miss the old cast too. I don't think the new Phana and…
I agree with you. They passed on actors who have acted in other projects, so I thought this cast was going to make me dazed. I think these actors are trying hard, but I expected more due to all of the complaints about the acting in the first version. I think they will improve as time goes on.

I'm still cheering for this version and the actors, but we'll have to agree to disagree about the acting being better. That is the biggest letdown for me. The pre-release publicity buzz made a big deal about the author participating in casting, but Earth is not like New Year either, which was a major criticism against casting Bas. I think that things will improve as time goes on because the actors are trying hard.
