He is reincarnated, he seems to have past life recall but makes it clear that his is not Wat, but Pharan. That's why he gave Khemjira a look when he called him "Wat" and explained he is not Wat after sending Yod off to wait for reincarnation. It would have been better to have casted another actor to play Wat, but it is what it is.

Compared to the novel this series is a low simmer, not a slow burn. I'm glad that they are keeping up with the supernatural elements of the novel. I got bored by the Wat x Khemmika x Yod triangle more so because Keng played Wat instead of having a different actor do the past life flashback. I think that it was confusing for people who were not raised in a religion with reincarnation as an element to understand that that Wat and Pharan are not the same people, it's the same soul that has migrated.

It was terrible even for a student project. They should have just made a 4 episode mini series.

You can't persuade these little kids that they are authoritarian, that's the scary part. I think that MDL skews younger because every overwrought, melodramatic, angsty series is a "masterpiece" (over used word on this platform) and anything else sucks.

Since adults are involved there is some NC, not constant, but The Sign was pretty good.

To me, they spent too much time on the past life stuff which I just FF'ed through. We get it, they have a past life together. Spend more time trying to figure out the curse. It's the backstory about the curse that takes Khem from a cutie who is always fainting out of nowhere, to explaining why this is happening. I read the novel and like some of the changes like closing the age gap so they could cast Keng in the series, and putting the relationship on simmer, rather than slow burn.

I hope so because I want to see Gao's sister make Shen beg lol. I also want the scene where Hua, Gao and the two kids get kidnapped.

Probably both then. The man is obsessed.

You will see things they left out of the series, especially a lot of the Hua Yong's internal thoughts and feelings. Hua Yong is a yandere and he only loves Sheng Shao You. For me, I like yandere characters, so I am enjoying the series.

Unfortunately, KBL have always been weak in acting and storytelling and despite all the coaching, plastic surgery and big budgets. Thanks for being honest.

If they are going to adapt older works, I wish they would stick more closely to the source material, especially with casting. I've noticed that Japan tends to cast actors who look much older than the age of the character. I love Ogeretsu's works and the drawings are gorgeous.

I like that neither actor looks like they've had several face surgeries and love the quirky female characters. I like the obsessed secret love type like this and ABO Desire.

I enjoyed the first episode. I'm glad they left in the supernatural parts that are in the book. They usually make deep cuts, but in the story, it all dials back.

I'm an admitted fluff, little to no angst please viewer and this is one of my favorite shows airing. Nut, who I first saw in Oxygen, is killing it, and I'm not sure how Ping is keeping a straight face! Wonderful!

I like this series, but I love BL fluff, and do not care for angst. I don't know if Mud is still with Ploy and I'm fine with that big plot hole. I do agree that Long's agent should put him up for different types of roles, because he has the talent and looks to do more challenging roles.

It's slightly prejudiced to assume that a fictional country with 4 principalities, all wealthy beyond measure, would not have robust university systems. Plus, who needs a master's degree for that? There are people who do very well in that area as cultural practitioners without credentials westerners prize, many only high school graduates, even drop-outs, but of course, only "Western" theory is best theory right? Since I've lived in places with indigenous peoples, it is the people with the western education who don't know crap, and the cultural practitioners have to teach them. I'm merely pointing out that the author made such a huge deal over it, only to have Khanin run back to the UK to get a piece of paper, instead of staying there to help. Cultural practitioners are not second class to the elite who get a piece of paper from abroad.

I think this adaptation did not do the manga series justice. I understand that Vol 2 of the manga series has a lot sexual activity, but I feel they did not capture the happiness and lightheartedness, and even awkwardness of the characters after the angst was over. I re-read it thinking I remembered incorrectly, but I did not remember Konno moving to NY. At least we got to see beautiful Japan rather than Tokyo.

I liked the series but thought the last episode was terrible. Khanin makes such hoopla over pollution and the environment only to announce that he is renouncing being a prince and moving to the UK to study? Since this this from a novel, I understand, but I get tired of the "study abroad" and "abroad is best" attitude in some Thai series. So Khanin ended up being a copout okay. If he really cared, he would study in Emmaly in order to consider cultural norms and practices. That's what they are doing in Northern Thailand to try to develop methods that do not cause as much air pollution as burning. Hopefully Khemjira won't let me down.

Took me until now to watch this. It reminded me of teen horror books I used to read when I was a kid and 1980's slasher films. Nothing new or groundbreaking since I read so many teen horror books during puberty. In the realm of Lois Duncan, Richard Peck and others. I thought the country was beautiful and the cast was good, especially Barcode. The ending was unsatisfying and seeing the only innocent party killed was kind of tough.
