I didn't watch the first one because I am not interested in Thais living in Japan, mainly because I'm not a fan of Thais worshipping the Korean and Japanese aesthetic all the time. I guess neither seasons are very good.

I really like this little series. Yes, I'm concerned about getting a Korn and Intouch ending with this couple, or a Brokeback Mountain ending, but there are so few series in rural settings that the land is also drawing me in. We all now that gay love existed in all generations and I'm sure there were a few couples who were allowed to live authentically, but maybe discreetly. I hope I don't have to watch any funerals.

I'm not sure why women get a pass at sexual assault and the romanticization of it with very little complaint. But if a male character does the same, the sky is falling! What June did to Penny was sexual assault. I only bring it up because the girlies get so angry when a male character kisses a sleeping person on the cheek. I'm not kink shaming because I know that a portion of BL fans like dubcon and noncon, but pointing out that being pinned against a desk and kissed by force is sexual assault regardless. These chicks were not a couple in the novel, so just leave them alone.

No, but it would be very upsetting to see a third party get slapped across the face because of what Ramil did and I would have vented to my grandpa, the king. It's also because I read the book The Whipping Boy and it disturbed me that an orphan would be there for the purpose of taking beatings for the Prince. It is a very sadistic and psychopathic thing to do to a child, but in TNP, they're adults, and I don't know if Paytai is an orphan.

The book shocked me when I read it because I had not even thought of the concept of a proxy being beaten for a prince's misdeeds. Thanks for letting me know about the tweet since I do not have socials.

I was surprised by the whipping boy subplot. I read a book many years ago called the Whipping Boy and it is very hard to process. Major plot hole is that Khanin who grew up an average kid in London was not more furious and disturbed about that. I did not read the Next Prince book, so I don't know if that subplot is in the book, or if there was more of a reaction from Khanin, but I would have ratted to the King once I got home and try to have him change houses.

I just love Sorn and Jun. Even though they are in denial, they are crazy for each other.

I'm not from the UK, but if it's anything like the movie Get Real, it was tough. I love this series and the fairy tale because Khanin is not even trying to hide how he feels about Charan, it's just that others are trying to force him into the closet. Once the king is on board, Khanin and Charan will be open and out.

I don't think this series has a Eurocentric aesthetic at all. In fact some of the complainers are Eurocentric in view because they obviously have not seen the Thai King and what he wears. The current king, Rama X and his beloved father, Rama IX wear/wore military style uniforms with all of the embellishments. Rama IX even composed jazz songs which is an African-American music genre so who gets to decide what the definition of being Thai is? I get more annoyed at the "he looks Korean" comments in some series.

I love this series! Sorn is so attractive that almost anyone would be into him, but he is such an idiot that he does not realize that he is in love with Jun. And he thinks Jun is stubborn! The acting is really good too.

Is this from a novel? The plot seems very familiar, especially the writing on the door by the two guys.

I usually binge KBL because to ME they are the weakest of all countries (including Vietnam and Philippines) in terms of acting and storytelling. Judging by the comments it was 10 episodes of gaybaiting so that people would watch a hetero couple show, which is already available in thousands of K-drama, which I do not watch. After Just Say Yes was cancelled, I've been waiting all of these years for another series with Smart. He still has charm and is heart melting.

I do not do socials outside of family & RL friends so I thank you for posting this. Everyone are adults, but some fans act worse than little kids. They made a good pair, so it's too bad.

Usually, the bare chests and underwear scenes are a shoulder shrug to me, but Joss is the first that kept my eyes glued to the screen, mainly his butt. Many Asian men usually have a flatter behind, so what ever he is doing in the gym is really working. Even got this aunty's attention.

I just finished episode 1 and after the scooter scene already know that Daon will end up with him. I went to look at the webtoon's reviews and I'm not exaggerating, about 90% of the reviews I read hate Daon, aka MC. I didn't want too much spoiled so I don't know what he does to merit this, but should I even keep watching? I know MDL skews high in the ratings toward angst, so I cannot trust the rating here. Any webtoon readers who hated MC recommend this?

I'm more worried that Arm is going to receive an urn and I've wasted my time watching the series.

I haven't liked any Thai productions of popular Japanese manga. Will have to see who the cast is.

I absolutely LOVE this manga series. I just hope that they can ballroom and Latin dance. Most of the manga shows dancing.

I hope that you like it. I am very easy to please and I actually usually do not like the angsty stuff people on these boards love. Every major character in this drama has flaws and problems. Even the women of the GL couple have flaws and problems. The acting isn't the best, but not the worst either.
