Episode 10 was the best so far. The storytelling, the acting, just wow. I'm so impressed with Joe 2's mother not wanting to her son, who already committed suicide over a relationship, to be some rich guy's dirty secret, but also gave Ming time to work out a plan. I think Sol will support this relationship as long as Ming does not go back to thinking that he owns Joe. I'm hoping Ming's dad is not the monster the family thinks he is.

I watched an interview with Up where he said that Ming has "emotional issues" and is a, "spoiled brat." This makes me love Up's acting even more because he gets his character, both positive and negative characteristics. I'm not sure if I'm going to watch Ep 10 or wait to watch 10-12 together. The protagonist, Joe, just depresses me. Strange because he is so "up" but he makes me depressed. I'm not sure what to do because I can watch Knock Knock Boys after.

I can believe it. It's been done twice and the story has to be heavily censored to make it acceptable to new viewers who have never read the books.

Oh, the boards said Poom's character was the bad buy. Yes, Poom is gorgeous, and so is his voice. so I'm glad that I got to see him as a Joe first, who like ALL of the character in this drama, is flawed, so I was not swayed by his handsomeness.

I'm not sure how many other actors could play Ming and not come off as deranged. Ming is still a controlling jerk, but we see that he has learned from losing Joe, and that's hard to convey. Even Mek is showing his depth as an actor, in the character Tong, an opportunity he really did not have at GMMTV. Although I have enjoyed other series more this year, I cannot say I've seen a better ensemble of actors than this series. I'm going to watch the bakery series, just to see Poom as the bad guy.

OMG I know those women too. At least Ming isn't a cheater. Some of the guys you describe also cheat, which causes some of the breakups. I finally found my silver lining about Ming lol.

In real life Ming is unacceptable, although I know that he and Joe will be together. Even now (Ep 6) he is stalking Joe and controlling him. Fictional characters are always given leeway. Some people have these type of fantasies and there are darker stories in BL, but many viewers would be turned off and not watch. I think it's only redeemable because Up is playing Ming, and he is established, as well as a good actor, so the actor can be differentiated from his character

I disliked Teh from ITSAY/IPYTM and did not want Oh to take him back, both seasons. That's how I feel about Ming. He is sort of a yandere type when Joe tries to leave. In the real world, Ming would be committing domestic violence, kidnapping and caused Joe to get fired, all of which is hard to overcome. Hopefully he will redeem himself eventually.

Just started to watch and trying to catch up. Watched the first 3 episodes and I don't hate it, but I don't love it either. I don't care about any of the characters except Joe and he's a simp, so I want to shake him. I'll keep pressing on, but as of now, it's just okay and I'm not rooting for Joe and Ming.

I saw the movie, it was okay, but I felt they held back, especially Taichi's character.. I'm hoping the series is more like the manga since Taichi is such a spark plug in the manga. I'm excited to watch episode 1.

I hate "gay best friend" more as a heterosexual.

I know about detrans because my generation did not allow surgery until you were an adult and met milestones. A critique I have is with the erasure of fem gay men in culture, in favor of the gym gays, or what they used to call "straight acting." The people who did not/could not pass in the past bore the most of the hatred, now it's like the community is embarrassed of them. I don't get that.

As an old f@g h@g, I understand your pain, but we also had "try-sexuals" back in the day, so I don't fully discount the existence of self-identified pansexuals. Now that transexuals have left the gay community, maybe there should be an intellectual discussion about LGB separating from the gender identities. You're also talking to a generation of people who were not even born with people were dying of AIDS left and right, and the fallout of that pandemic, so they do not even know about recent gay history. The show runners are from that generation, so they will never talk about overt and unaware homophobia within the community.

i enjoyed this episode seeing both Wandee and Yoryak showing vulnerability. Great's acting is so good that I did not recognize him as the inspector from Manner of Death until I was episodes in. I did not watch Inn's previous show since I knew it would be sad. The new guys in Wandee Goodday and Only Boo are really showing up for work. Thor and Fluke as Oye and Cher are so much fun to watch. This is the first series where Podd plays an unlikeable character and I'm loving it.

I agree with you, but the problem is, if you've ever been to Bangkok, unless you are 3 blocks away, you will never get there on time. I wish they had shown a more realistic solution to texting a friend, which you will not be able to do IRL while fighting off an offender and not use an attempted SA to drive a wedge, and allow the Ter/Dee discussion to take place. Acquaintance rape is a reality, so while I like that she stood up for herself, I would have liked to have seen a more realistic solution, like using the smartphone's emergency call feature.

Kiyoi Sou the ultimate tsundere. Loved Season 2 as well.
