This was one of the worst series I've ever watched. Large budget, great cast, all wasted on characters who were largely unlikable. I fast forwarded through much of the final episode because I just did not care about the characters. My disappointment in this series continued the crap behavior to the end, when Ice wrote Tee the Dr. John letter. They missed an opportunity for Tee and Ice to talk about it and come to a mutual understanding, yet we end the series just as it began, this time, It's Tee and Ice instead of Daonuea and Nine.

It's possible that the had problems, especially if one of them got COVID or an emergency and had to shoot their scenes later. That would explain why X is in voiceover asking for a kiss when we don't even get to see his expression when Q shows up wearing the shirt. The shirt is another reason why I felt they did not settle their relationship while X was in Japan. I felt that the shirt was an answer, but without seeing both actors in the same frame, it's difficult to tell.

I can believe they may have talked online, especially after missing him at the airport, but he also seemed surprised by X's return. I have a harder time believing that X would have the patience to not want to see Q ASAP and would not have let him know his itinerary. The personality shift in X, after only two months, would need to be explained. I'm just think they needed a 5th episode or more explanation of X and Q while apart.
oh i didnt think about that one 😮 some of us were saying maybe he has DID or some other personality disorder…
I didn't know the owner of the coffee shop is named God, and that adds another element. The other strange part is, when Mork is in public, at the coffee shop and ceramic store, he is always Mork, not Mon. I still haven't figured out why Tiew did not recognize Mork right after meeting him, when they ran into each other. I just hope for a happy ending because I really like these characters. Rossi, who is more cute than handsome at this age, is really killing it with the acting. He can't depend on being overly handsome, but the more I see him, the more gorgeous he becomes. He has had to take on so many moods in this series. I may just be a new fangurl.

I'm afraid of this too. I want to watch this organically and not rewatch while it's airing, so I can't remember the significance of the key. If it was Mork, maybe it's Mork who had already passed on. The lone butterfly in that scene contrasts with the two butterflies that are usually shown. I've watched my fair share of mysteries, ghost stories and crime dramas, but this one is one of the best (if they don't mess up the ending) at keeping things confusing and secretive.

They gave more time to Frank/Mild and Toy/Mook resolving their misunderstandings, while Q and X got Q laying on his bed crying. I would have liked to have seen their conversation. Also, I don't think they made up electronically or Q wouldn't have been surprised to see X's order because he would have been at the airport to greet him. Since he was in Japan, not the Himalayas, he could have sent his itinerary.
I loved this series, but wish they added one more episode, or spent less expository time in episode 4, so that X and Q could have had a proper talk and reunion at the end of episode 4.
Ok, so I am trying to keep an open mind but this is confusing, beautiful but confusing! Is there a book out there…
If you find one could you let me know? I'm very confused even though I love this story. I want to find that garden place in Chiang Mai so that I can go there when I visit!
oh i didnt think about that one 😮 some of us were saying maybe he has DID or some other personality disorder…
It's possible that he has trauma induced amnesia. I'm only speculating because the 2 white butterflies have been featured many times in this series, and butterflies are often thought to be the spirits of dead family and friends coming to visit. After the end credits, there is a shot of 2 people, dressed in white, holding hands and walking through the garden they always go to. Then the coffee shop owner was talking to a single white butterfly, which landed on the key. This is why I think that maybe Thiew is crossing Mork over. There are also publicity shots of both actors wearing white. For my eyes and my heart, I hope this is all just a bad dream. That's one trope I would be happy to see.
I wanted to give Talay a kiss on the cheek when he finally woke up and decided to be happy. I'm hoping that Tess and Pakon are making progress since they never show them even briefly.
I'm just guessing that two of them have passed, and one is crossing the other over. The butterflies are a clue, but I'm not sure if there are two sets of twins, just Mork and Mon. My guess at this point is that Mork has a brain tumor, or something else, which is why he is fainting and hallucinating. I'm probably 100% wrong, and I may be eating red herrings.
Well, I'm in. I'm in for all the "toxicity". ALL. OF. IT.I'm in for the dry kisses, the hovering lips, the surprise…
The lip bite scenario was also in the Star Fighter comic, so it may be a fantasy of certain people. I would be mad, but that's just me. I don't like pain.
It's not about hypocrisy. I think it's more about nuance and context. Some problematic behaviours can be tolerate…
To me, if the viewers are able to romanticize, the author/director is also romanticizing. Author and reader/viewer are in a symbiotic relationship. The author spins this story of falling in love even though the foundation is unhealthy. It is glamorized in luxury, fighting, life saving scenarios, and a seemingly close family to cement the bond. My perception was not that they were bad guys, but that they were good guys in a bad business. This is the romanticization that I felt was presented to me.
Pete, who was kidnapped, raped and tortured was romanticized as well. Throw in a hedgehog and a shared screwed up childhood, was to elicit empathy for a psychopath, or at least a person with psychopathic traits. VP was romanticized in such a way that people were rooting for the couple from start to finish. The same analysis for Kim and Kamol could be applied to Pete and Vegas. Vegas gets hard over torture, but the viewer is expected to believe that he is just a lost little boy in a man's body.
I think all of it is "toxic" (MDL definition) but I can deal with it. What sometimes gets on my nerves is how people will go crazy because someone kissed a sleeping person on the cheek, and attack other viewers who are enjoying the series. Many of the same people will excuse bad behavior in a character they love. These viewers also pick and choose which shows to brigade against. Teh from ITSAY/IPYTM in my opinion is one of the most "toxic" characters in BL. Some of the viewers hated him in IPYTM, but did not write "toxic" responses to viewers who had a different opinion. There was more discussion than vitriol.
We can agree to disagree. I appreciate. your comment and it is something to think about.

The one good thing is, if you are attacked and give an intelligent response, they block you, saving you a block. Most of them are kids who have been taught if you are loud and shout people down, you win. They are too ignorant to realize we are shaking our heads, walking away out of pity. One unblocked me to make room, then I promptly blocked them. The boards have been a much better place since.

I didn't like the bullying that I saw on the Cutie Pie board. If a person liked something, they were accused of supporting SA. That is one of the most kindergarten arguments I've ever heard. I don't engage with them because it wouldn't be a fair argument. Who wants to debate a person with 5 year old critical thinking skills?
Jesus Christ yes please. But I already saw it happening with episode one. I added one comment hoping to get the…
Please don't give up. I'm not sure how it happened but the bullies did not gain traction on the KP board. It could be that I blocked the NPG automatons, and do not see the zombies, but some of the people I've engaged with have given rational responses, and use analysis to make their point. I don't mind disagreement if the person puts thought into it. I do not engage with the zombies, if it gets personal, I'm done.

I agree with you, if you think something is that horrible, don't watch it. I will be 100%, that I CHOSE to not watch Squid Games or Game of Thrones. Did I run around accusing my co-workers of supporting murder for sport, incest, rape, violence? Do I think they are horrible people? No. My co-workers are adults who can separate fiction from real life. Actually they were very supportive of my not watching the shows, never made fun of me or pushed me to watch them.
