Everything is pretty much different. I would say they kept the core character of the main character. I didn't like the novel I felt like it was so dramatic, lots of toxic character and misunderstanding. They definitely added more character growth and development and better interaction between characters

You can. But it will be a whole different type of storyline from the drama. The only characterization that is similar is the main character

You see it in the beginning episode and then they take it away so you can immerse in the experience of the character

How's his main competition below him? He's skilled too and male lead has lost to him multiple times in the competition

I don't feel he'll intentionally hurt her but I don't think anything he's currently doing is sweet. That's not his intention. An intention is what matters. His intention is scheming to trigger someone he does not like

There's no problem in liking him. Anybody could like whatever character they want. I don't think he's currently a good character with him having malice intent and doing dirty tricks to other people

I didn't really enjoy the book because there was no growth and development in the characters. And it was kind of abrupt of how it ended

And for me it was way too dramatic and chaotic. There's constantly conflicts and fighting. I don't think real life has it continuously like that
