We can hate a person's actions and hold them accountable and still like them
There is always a background of why and how people are. But there's so many people that overcome these bad backgrounds and do better.

So although the circumstances can contribute in shaping us. We also have the control to do better and reshape
it

Good talk

his plight isn't worse than any other characters. I recognize there's a catalyst to his behavior. But he has a s***** Behavior. Hopefully there is a character arch , growth and development

If this character was the male lead. I will still say the same thing.

Female lead has issue. Comes from a decent family but is still restraint by them

ML have issue. Traumatic past. Lost his dad and his mom. He had no support and love from his mom that he could see

I can be aware of their situation but they are still responsible for their actions.

Jeffery Dahmer. He had a bad childhood. I can see where he's coming from. But dude is a serial killer sociopath. There's a reason he did what he did because of his childhood trauma and issues. Because of his dad.

I recognize his childhood was horrible and it shaped him. It triggered something in his brain that activated his sociopathic mind.

I watch his raw interview. I see a hint of humanity in him. Regardless. This is a sociopathtic killer

Okay, so the ML and the SML are connected in this weird way—like their parents are married… lol. But when…
Considering he is investigating his dad situation there's definitely more shady stuff going on

Regardless of the environment. What they are doing is still wrong. Having a bad environment doesn't excuse or take away what we end up choosing to do.

I can have sympathy and empathy for certain situation but the action is still wrong.

This situation is different because this person did not have the privilege of this character.

This is a real life person in South Korea Army who was SA and abused so much that he went psycho. He ended up shooting and killing many people. Many of those people were innocent. I have sympathy for him as a victim and wanted the people who hurt him to be punished. But his action also killed many innocent people. I cried my eyes out for his scene but what he did is still wrong

While this character here grew up in privilege. His dad compare him to other people and he doesn't feel as much love etc etc he's taught to be Petty and vindictive etc etc.

He can still dislike and hate the other person. He could challenge the other person openly and not do it in a shady trashy way. Just be that a****** openly. You're going to do it anyways. But he choose to do it in a shady and trashy way

Okay… so they’re building up this soft, cute, wholesome little marriage between her friend and her husband—and…
Her husband is very lacking. Therefore I don't really find it sweet. He doesn't seem to prioritize her that much

Can someone tell me if there is another layer to this drama? I am on episode 7 and it feels like it has turned…
It will still cross over to VR. But it's not a 50/50 distribution

Hence the name of the drama. The blur line between reality and VR. There's hidden traumas and investigation. But The Core theme is Romance

I understand your point.

My point is that you keep talking about the dad. He's like this because of the dad. Poor him because of the dad.

The dad is a catalyst. But this character is a adult.

Ask yourself why do you like him? You feel the characters misunderstood and you understand him? You have sympathy and empathy for his plight?

I recognize that he's a product of his environment but I also recognize he's a grown adult. I don't hate this character but this character is not likable to me. He's a Bully and so far is showing no compassion or empathy. He does things in a shady under handed way.

If this character was in your face. I will have more respect for the character and might even like the character

Yes a sociopath is a combination of environment and psychologically. I have studied it and have a fascination for sociopath and psychopath.

At this point it's just repeating ourselves. I understand what you're saying but what I'm saying is although he's a product of environment he is still responsible for his action.

His action is still trash. Nobody put a gun to his head to do what he's doing

There is no clear indication of them realising their feelings till now. But it kinds of feels obvious for ML because…
She never said she was going to call him on the phone. She said that when she's ready she will yell out for him upstairs. In which she did.

But this point also show the insecurity male lead have in which we will see why that might be a problem in the future.

They do a decent job clearing it as in both characters will talk to each other when they are face to face. Both will think about it. If there's some dialogue there. They will clarify and clear it.

We see that they both take time to process things before the dialogue is presented. They do a decent job doing it with each other. But, Both for still learning

But we can see that both struggle with that. You can see them both struggling doing that with their parents.

Although ml it is observant. He doesn't seem to have experience with that type of communication.

But they are mature enough to even talk about it. Ask questions and clarify. As we seen in many drama it takes five to seven business days for them to even look at each other again

Communicating our true feelings in general for anybody is a hard thing to do. Should we say it? Is there a point in saying it? I myself is still learning if it's too much communication or should I really say certain things at all. It's not that easy to confront people and it took me many many years to learn and grow

My point is just because a lot of people do it doesn't excuse their behavior as an adult. This characters are grown adult in probably their 30s. They are responsible for their action regardless if you like him or not

It's an explanation but not an excuse for their behavior as a grown adult.

My parents has influence on me. But as a grown adult with a critical thinking brain. I question things and figure things out myself. My moral compass was still good regardless of their influence or not. I know what was right and what was wrong.

I don't blame my parents for any trauma I have. Did they have a part in it, yes. But I also know as a adult I had my own choices of how I was to do things

If this person doesn't have a any moral compass to know what's right and wrong . Then they are a sociopath

In the sense. You are because you're stating he's like that because of his father. His father is part of it. But he's also like that because of his own actions. He could do things differently.

Of course the upbring affects you.

I did not grow up the way my parents expected or wanted. Because I had my own thoughts and ideas. I did not follow there teaching and guidance.

So yes environment and parents influence is part of it, but it doesn't necessarily mean that's how it will shape you 100%.

We also have the environmental factor of school, friends Etc.

As I Grew Older I had my own thoughts and how I did things. In which I fought with my parents about because that's not how they brought me up. So you don't necessarily just blindly follow into their footsteps/influences.

This character harbors a hatred towards the other one. And the way he choose to go buy it is with Shady Malice intent. I would have more respect for him if he did it to him to his face.

Hold out? Why? What's the point in torturing yourself?
Sometime it's too hard to keep up with. It helps that it's released when I am going to work.

Should he have clarify a little bit better. Sure. But he was not mad at her. The miscommunication last less than the day. They discussed it and talked it out. They moved on. That is a pretty mature conversation.

They're misunderstanding was not three to five episodes long.

If both characters were immature. They would not be talking to each other at all and will continue assuming and ignoring each other

I'm a binge watcher. Also if there is a lingering misunderstanding I wouldn't have to wait for the episode to see what happened next
