It's a wrap on "Can This Love Be Translated "The verdict:1. Too much ingredients and no recipe 2. Back…
I haven't finished the drama yet, but I feel the same. Though, I would rate it a 7/10 at the moment. I would also add that the drama feels like a 12-ep ad: for the countries, for different artists (e.g. the Canadian singer), for food and drinks, for other films (especially Netflix production). Due to the double personality arch I am forcing myself through the eps at the moment. I like the actors and it is definitely not due to them. But their characters seem a bit shallow. They have their story but for some reason I still don't feel any depth (Hiro seems to have more depth and personality, lol). The camera work is quite good, though.
I used to live close to Banff, Canada, and the drama made me miss it so much.
I just finished the 4th episode. so far I’m really enjoying it. One thing I find hilarious as a Canadian is…
omg, this annoyed me tbh because that is one of my weird obsessions. I've lived in Canmore for a year, so I know the area, and they seemed to portray Banff as the downtown area of what was essentially Calgary. All the distances made no sense, and I know that it is not important for the story at all, but it irked me.
someone told me that they sometimes do it due to the different dialects etc. I might be wrong, though.
ah, I have only started the drama, so I have not really seen much. But that truly sounds like shitty editing/planning. It usually also bothers me when the voice over doesn't match the mouth movements
I am on ep 6: The Story itself is not bad, but why is everyone so unprofessional in their job and why is the reporter FL included in the whole investigation? So far, I actually only enjoy maybe 30-40% of the drama, and I find every character quite unlikeable (and unprofessional).
Dragged myself through the first 20 episodes just so I could enjoy the sweet fruit of the last 20 episodes....I'm…
Lol, for me it is the other way around😂 I binged through the first 20 eps and now I have to force myself to continue. I wouldn't be able to pinpoint the reason, though.
The panelist addressed that the show is not scripted but there's certain similarity at least from the past season(s).…
The interviews don't have to be scripted as they just have to prompt the participants with pointed questions and then edit it so it would fit the narrative. However, that being said, the show can still be scripted
Mingee is my favorite, and that’s exactly why this whole thing gets on my nerves. I really don’t trust that…
I agree. He seems to be more interested in Mina Sue and doesn't seem to initiate with Mingee (who is also my favourite). If he keeps showing Mina Sue more interest, I hope that Mingee looks for someone else (maybe the new male arrival, or Hyunwoo). But if Seungil shifts his attention to Mingee and is done craving Mina Sues attention, it'd be grand
I have just started the drama, and it is really good, but I find the scenes with the maids a bit off-putting as they are overly comedic. Considering the other scenes to be fairly serious, this just doesn't feel coherent. I don't mind a bit of comedy, especially as the behaviour of the maids is comedic yet outrageous. But the sound effects are a bit too much, in my opinion. The rest is quite good so far.
Aside from the summary, I thoroughly enjoyed this. I hope S2 comes out soon. I can’t imagine why Yall who’ve…
Does this drama require a 2nd season? Like, am I good to watch this drama before the release of the 2nd season, or will I wait in agony for the story to continue?
in ep 3, there must've been a spot on the camera lense, and it drives me insane 😂😭
ep 6: and damn, the grandmother and the uncle are the true villains. Gotta vent in the comment section as they drive me even more insane than the spot on the lense in ep 2
Ngl, I was disappointed in the last case, considering that they had a small preview in the previous season and that Kim Do Gi would also be emotionally involved, it was not deep enough. It was solved too quickly and just seemed very weak compared to the previous seasons and the other cases in this season. Generally, while I still liked this season, imo it did not match the quality of season 2.
