Hiya, sorry for the late reply, I was just moving from Europe to Australia. I will have a look at my Watchlist later👍🏻
for now, I can deffo recommend Mr Sunshine due to its cinematography and story. It is absolutely heartbreaking though as it is set during the Japanese invasion. I might have some fluffier dramas😊 will get back to you later👍🏻

Yeah, me too🤞🏻 and yes, I am just a huge kdrama fan and I unknowingly started quite early (first kdrama in 2013 before I even knew of the kdrama world lol)😊 usually I prefer thrillers and action, but family dramas are my weakness😂
please give me a reason why i should continue this drama after eps 13
I am currently watching ep 9 and debating whether I should drop this as I can't quite get into this drama. Reading your comment makes me believe that it won't get better. I was intrigued by the plot at first but I have seen dramas with similar plot/scenes that had me more attached.

No worries! I have watched Never Twice, Once Again (loved it) and My Father Is Strange. Ugly Alert is high up on my list. I started What Happens to My Family 4 years ago and stopped for some reason. Would you recommend picking it up again?
And I don't mind older dramas, sometimes I prefer them over newer dramas.
The good question is WHY, what is your relationship to alcohol that this irks you so much?
That person is questioning anyone daring to criticise this drama. Even if it is not criticism but just the fact that not everyone likes this drama. As if alcoholism could be the only reason for people to not enjoy the drama. I started this drama and I am not a fan either, just can't get into it (and no, I don't have an alcohol problem nor do I drink regularly)

I downrated it a bit as some bits were infuriating, but I couldn't stop watching😂 I don't mind dropping dramas but this one got me attached and I actually did enjoy watching. I do love family dramas as well. Which ones would you recommend (maybe I haven't watched them yet)?
this scene is she cheating on him !? and if they are together is they ended together or he break up with her and…
so, she gets together with a rich guy (Hyowon's brother Hyosang). However, Taeyang works in the same company and she acts as if she still has a say in Taeyang's life (who quickly focused on himself rather than the ex). Due to that, she becomes miserable. She managed to get engaged to Hyosang, who eventually becomes broke, so she is engaged (and I am not sure whether they actually got married) to a guy who lost his job and money. She runs away at first (the materialistic person she is), but eventually they have their "happily ever after". I still don't like her, and there was no real redemption. But despite her still acting high and mighty yet meek throughout the drama, she also looked so pathetic. Their scenes are not that many, though, so it is certainly manageable

No worries. I prefer mature romance over childish ones as well. And I absolutely loved Road Home too. I also understand your points regarding Arsenal Military Cademy and Best Choice Ever as I at times felt the same. I am planning to watch The Oath of Love, Love Scout and Meet Yourself. I am curious how the romance in these dramas is going to be😊

Oh, wait. She doesn't have an ex or anything. Her whole focus is on ML. And she is more like naive due to being raised rich but she is not looking down or anything. It is more like, she is buying everything because she has the money. But she doesn't mind working. Though, in the beginning she is not properly working due to knowing that she is rich and as she got the job due to being part of her family. But she is not intentionally flaunting her money. It is literally naivity. And ML quickly explains that money cannot always bring happiness and that he doesn't want everything gifted. So, she gets creative.

Oh, and I don't know if you watched the following dramas and whether you watch Chinese dramas, but here are some dramas with mature romance that I quite enjoyed (Korean and Chinese): You Are My Glory Amidst a Snowstorm of Love Run On Road Home Best Choice Ever Hospital Playlist 1+2 (though, medical focused) Once Again Falling Into Your Smile Crash Landing on You
If you like subtle romance in action dramas or dramas that are nor quite romance focused but certainly include some, I liked and can recommend: Operation: Special Warfare (mainly military) Stealth Walker (mainly police/undercover work) Arsenal Military Academy (historical, WWII) Battle of Changsha (FL childish in the beginning but matures; historical, WWII) You Are My Hero The Long Ballad (historical) Flower of Evil Jun Jiu Ling (historical) The Princess' Man (historical) Mr. Sunshine (historical and very tragic)
