Well, that scene of him pushing the other against the bed was the hottest scene in the show. It's as if they only…
Absolutely! I hope BLs and GLs gain more professional script writers, directors and actors, branching out into more genres like medical and police procedurals, law, supernatural and everything in between. We started getting some specs of those, but definitely not enough. Entertainment industry is very important and has huge impact on society, so as BL/GL series attain more professional look, the impact will increase immensely.
Well, that scene of him pushing the other against the bed was the hottest scene in the show. It's as if they only…
Yes, money speaks! š I am not sure how very accepting they are of gay people yet, but at least thereās a huge progress in the entertainment industry - youāre right, not long ago, it would be unthinkable for an idol or a popular actor to join a BL project. Hopefully, with mostly women being a target audience, they will make actual society a more accepting place, not freaking out if their kids or neighbors happen to be gay. Thatās why I think that no matter how silly or unrealistic a BL (or GL) series is - it still is useful in this respect.
Well, that scene of him pushing the other against the bed was the hottest scene in the show. It's as if they only…
Yes, heās definitely less experienced and it shows, but thatās another reason why I am so happy for a more mature and experienced actor to be in a BL - while Cha Seo Won clearly stands out with his solid acting, not doing Gongchan any favors, itās a great opportunity for Gongchan to learn a lot and improve his acting skills. And I think this particular plot is perfect for his learning curve as his character lets his older partner to take charge, allowing Gongchan the actor go with the rhythm that Cha Seo Won sets. So, if a young actor gets experience and betters himself, we only win in the end, so Iām ok with some mishaps for now š

To be fair, main coupleās dynamic is very different from the 2nd couple. To start with, Won Young came into the picture identifying himself as a straight man. So the only way any sparks would fly at that point is when heās under extreme pressure, being cornered unexpectedly. Sparks in this case are not āchemistryā but surprise and attempt to avoid the confrontation. Otherwise, on his side itās a very calm relationship of student/teacher at that point. Later, he slowly becomes more aware of his feelings, but he canāt show any āsparksā because heās unsure of the whole situation. Once they clarify their feelings to each other, Won Young basically lets his older and more experienced boyfriend take charge in every aspect of their relationship, while Tae Joon is being very patient and careful with Won Young. So to me, itās understandable to not see lust and drama at this point. Again, we see āsparksā of a confrontation when Tae Joon throws Won Young on the bed, not lust. Of course, in some other dramas it would be an excuse for some violence, which of course would solidify their relationship in the end š¤¦āāļø Thank god, this was a decent drama without that travesty. So my point is - I think their relationship is shown in a very logical manner and I wouldnāt expect them to behave out of their characters. There might be more sparks flying in the next two episodes when they get together for good. Weāll see š
I really like this series, and I am happy that recently we started getting more experienced actors interested in a BL. I hope it will help the genre to develop and grow out of high school and uni scenery. Iām not against those staples by any means - MSP was a very pleasant surprise, but I would just like to see more of a variety of topics, like any other romantic dramas have.
She's like what? 23? I think we're giving too much credit to the maturity level of university age kids right now,…
I agree, perspective and environment based on which the perspective is created are very important š Of course, people are different, and there were immature girls where I grew up, too, but not that many. Also, not everyone wanted immediate marriage (I didnāt), but on average girls did have long term plans very early š Poor boys had no chance to escape š¤£
She's like what? 23? I think we're giving too much credit to the maturity level of university age kids right now,…
I guess I just never saw girls like that. Iām in my late 40s, and I went to college, but where I was, girls were trying to get married at 18-19, so if a guy is not interested - no time wasted, move on to someone who wants a serious relationship š¤·āāļø So her being whooping 23 years old is an adult for me, but she behaves like sheās in middle school. I guess it depends on perspective š
I think itās because Ji Hyun thinks that Jae Won always kisses everyone in sight when heās drunk and he doesnāt…
Editing could be part of the issue, it is a bit choppy. I still think itās mostly JW not being emotionally ready for a relationship even though physically he definitely wants it! So he kind of procrastinates, just going with the physical flow of it. I noticed they almost donāt ever talk. They hold hands and thereās a whole lot of physical tension for now. Emotionally, though, JW is a wreck. He even admitted to his doctor that he doesnāt want any relationships with people. So I feel for JH whoās already swept off his feet and ready to start a relationship.
the issue is not the fact crazy exes are unrealistic, coz yes, sadly there are women like that, yes at her age,…
I agree, women like this probably exist in real life (I havenāt seen any, but it doesnāt mean they canāt exist), but inserting them in almost every drama must be tiresome! š I mean, I am tired of watching them that often when I know they are not the norm. Women Iāve met, including myself, wouldnāt be wasting time on a guy who is not interested. Thereās enough fish in the sea to not humiliate and torture yourself over a relationship that is not meant to be š¤·āāļø
Just a quick question. How can that European dude work in a bar without understanding basic orders? Does it really happen in Korea? I mean, I am an immigrant, and I live in the USA where you get people from all over the world, but I find it hard to imagine any business would hire a person to work the counter without a word of English š¤·āāļø
My other thing is the token bitch ex. Come on already! Itās not middle school! Can we please move on from totally unreasonable and unrealistic female characters? š At her age, what woman would run after a dude who she hasnāt even seen for two years and whoās obviously not interested in her? Pleeease! š¤¦āāļø Ae Rin was more believable, quickly repositioning herself as ājust friendsā - thatās a girl I can see in real life. And JWās friends? Who needs enemies? š
i love it so much, but I don't get why they dont talk about what happened in the surfing trip.
I think itās because Ji Hyun thinks that Jae Won always kisses everyone in sight when heās drunk and he doesnāt remember that kiss. So heās keeping quiet about it. Jae Won doesnāt seem too ready to jump into a relationship, so even if he remembers that kiss heās not willing to discuss it.
Iām glad I checked the comments before I watched this episode. Looks just like what I figured from the preview last week - yet another rape leading to an undoubtedly wonderful romance! 𤯠What a pile of bullshit! Normally, I am not dropping series, but I am making an exception for this one. Iām outāļø
so I'm not the only one who wants her to be hit my lightening?
For sure! The sister drove me nuts! I donāt know if itās an actress or a director, but if you hear that your father molested your brother - wouldnāt you react at least mildly surprised? Sheās just standing here, all miserable, clinging to Uea not letting him throw hands. Girl, itās not about you, let him go throw some punches, itās therapeutic. And please, show some reaction to the news of your daddyās behavior.
I hope the white envelope contained the recording of the last phone call. Mr. Krit? More like Mr. Kreep. Also,…
As far as I remember, no recording. Just a resignation letter. But Krit will get his karma š
Yes, the neighbors heard everything, and I donāt think it will be fun for the mom to live there. She never repented, so Uea just stopped all communication. I think he was still giving her some money, but I am not sure right now.
Yeah, that āmomā can go kick the bucket in a ditch along with her hubby for what I care š¤¦āāļø
I think the reason why he didn't talk with Uea about the blind date is cus he was waiting for Uea to stop him…
Exactly. Since they established the rules of not interfering with each otherās personal life, Uea feels like he has no right to stop King from going on a date. So King is waiting for Uea to stop him, but when Uea doesnāt, King figured that Uea just doesnāt care. Again, because of the rules, King canāt directly ask Uea about it, so theyāre stuck circling around each other on eggshells š¤·āāļø
i genuinely don't understand why Uea keeps going back to his mother. her behaviour is just plain disgusting, and…
In the novel, Uea did try to cut off his mother a long time ago, and blocked her number. She started calling his friends and their parents and whoever was willing to listen to her bitching. So he chose to unblock her and just transfer her money from time to time. This time, he came to the house because Krit was being a stalker and Uea wanted to show him that heās not welcome to this behavior.
Iām confused. Viki has two more episodes next week. Are those extra scenes or BTS or something?
If episode 7 was a finale, it didnāt feel like it to me. Theyāve been in a relationship for 2 years, and they just now start learning about what they like/dislike? Iām not even talking about no physical contact - they might be not into sex, whatever, itās their business. But trivial things like āwhat do you likeā are for the first couple of dates I think, itās 2 years too late by now š
Apart from Bameeās stepmother being an awful person, I guess there must be something for her being so terrified…
I think sheās at least running a drug ring from her house. Couple of corpses hidden in the closet is also a possibility. Otherwise, whatās the problem with letting kids inside? š¤·āāļø They donāt even care how big or clean a house is.
Kudos to the actress, though! Thatās what a mature experienced actress adds to the show! š„°

Here, I like both couples. They are different and itās so interesting to observe their interactions! It seems like Ho Tae and Won Young just recently figured out their sexuality, but they are approaching their crush in their own way, as it should be, according to their personalities. Itās so nice to see different characters acting properly without the same template for all! š¤©
