I think its because Mum does not meddle into Mint's personal life. Like when the pub members sent him the picture…
But on the picture would be Dew from Mum’s world, who has no idea about Mum. So he couldn’t help the investigation much. This Dew probably has the same people surrounding him, but he seems to be more relaxed so those people might be not as bad as the ones from Dew’s world. We’ll see :)
I feel like even if Dew were to say, "Sorry, Mint. I'm gay.", she'd still be like, "Ok, you can be gay, but can…
Yep, she’s a total and complete embarrassment of a female character - thank you, writers, so very much 🙄 Just please go work abroad or whatever - ffs, remove yourself from the situation! 🤦♀️
I really hope See-ew finds himself a partner who will appreciate all sides of him, who will understand his needs and will be happy to participate in his puppy kink. I am not even a member of the BDSM community, and to me - he’s absolutely adorable! 🥰
I know this series is rated G or PG, but I'm thinking they are missing an opportunity to show that disabled people…
Absolutely! It seems to me like someone made a list of great ideas to explore, and left the room while writers were scrambling on how to expand those bullet points. Oh well… I join you in hoping for better use of those ideas next time 🥂

I totally agree with you! Honestly, I started thinking that Nan/Chompoo are portraying an asexual couple with “No touching” agreement. Which is perfectly fine, but if that’s the case - it would be nice to somehow accentuate on that so that it doesn’t look just weird and not believable.
like I am tired, are they dating or not seriously at this point they have done it all, crying, emotional breakdown,…
Yep, theoretically they’ve had ton of sex, including in the bathroom stall (which I am not really sure anymore - maybe they just discussed current politics there🤷♀️). Meanwhile, Team is clutching his pearls every time Win makes a slightly suggestive move, and they used camera angles for a kiss on the cheek 🤦♀️ It’s like they switched directors and/or writers after the first couple of episodes.
You definitely would have been a better script writer for this show than the actual ones :) Thanks for making…
Thank you 😊 I am too lazy to be a writer, I‘m much better at reading 😉 Sometimes, when a drama’s script is not exactly to my liking (like in this case) I just let my imagination do the work and have it played out perfectly in my mind. Works every time! 😂
They showed new scene at the special screening yesterday...https://twitter.com/beonpop_/status/1606338769279324161https://files.catbox.moe/vgvmh0.jpgAlex…
Honestly, I really don’t care about the sister much - she’s a supporting character. Although, she managed to go from zero to a wedding within 8 months time skip. Meanwhile, MC is still engaged… Anyway, there will be some awkward family gatherings in their future 😂
As for the old fart, I would love to see an actual resolution to that beating stuff. I can offer a couple of options: 1. Mom poisons his favorite chess and he kicks the bucket after a game with himself. 2. An grows a pair and doesn’t tolerate any of the abuse, tells daddy to fuck off and goes to live his life. 3. Bai Lang finds out about the beatings and finishes off his daddy-in-law himself. I’m sure the family would chip in for a shovel and a nice spot in the garden.
I think the reason she put Palm in that responsibility was because he's always with Nueng. Though I get where…
That’s possible 😊 and maybe it’s just a translation with the poor choice of words. I would say something like “please be by his side and support him as a friend” instead of “protect him emotionally” 😂

He certainly could be a secretly trained bodyguard - your theory might be just right 😉 My confusion is rather about his psychology diploma at his ripe age of 18 😂 You know, to protect Nueng emotionally 😊
I really like the series so far, the only “Ha?” moment for me was when mom dumped a whole lot of responsibility for her son on a boy her son’s age. Like, I am in my 40s, and I’m not sure how to “take care of him emotionally”. How? 🤷♀️ Besides, as an heir to that huge business, Nueng needs to learn to discern trustworthy people from scammers. He can’t do it if he’s shielded all the time. And again, how can a boy his age even from a tougher background be his bodyguard and his shrink? With constant threats to their lives, I would have Palm live with them as Nueng’s companion, put them both into a homeschooling program and have actual bodyguards around. Of course, then we wouldn’t have our second couple - but we could have bodyguards instead (we know the drill) 😂
He’s adorably goofy and kinky - something dramas usually shy away from. I’m glad they are exploring it with his character, and they are making it really funny ☺️
Army seems to be super comfortable with Alex 😉 I’m waiting to see how their relationship went from hazing to besties who casually roll on a bed with smooches on a cheek and wherever Army can reach 😂
Also, I don’t quite understand the rage of Nim. Is it still about a drunk kiss ten years ago or is there more than that? I mean, it seems pretty stupid to me to be that salty over something that innocent that happened that long ago. To me, if my bf went for a kiss with another person - I would be mad at my bf, not at that other drunk person. And given that everyone was dead drunk and/or high, I would let it slide after milking the situation to my heart’s content 😈 But that’s just me 😉
I can't speak to the other shows but with Mint I thought right away that she is kind of a reverse trope of a very…
Yes, fake dating wouldn’t be Dew’s highest point, but I think she offered it herself to pacify his family and he just grasped the opportunity (which he really shouldn’t have done) because he’s too stressed about it.
Thank you for sharing your experience and for your kind words 😊 We all go through our experiences and learn from them. I think we need to listen to ourselves more as we know best what we need. For example, for me - in my 40+ years, it was never an option to fall for a guy who never showed any interest in me as I am too logical and consider one-sided pining a waste of time. So I would mark him off my “hunting list” and wish myself happy hunting next time - plenty of fish in the sea! 😻 But lots of people are more emotional and need external help to get distracted. And both are fine - whatever works for each person 😉

I understand your point about gay boys falling in love with straight guys, and it definitely sucks. I think, though, that any unrequited love is painful. Even if Dew was straight it doesn’t mean he would ever get interested in Mint, while he could fall in love with some other girl. To me, feelings are either there, or not. And there’s nothing you can do about it for both parties. Whether the person who confesses to you is from the general group you are sexually attracted to, or not - if you don’t love them, they need to move on. It’s nobody’s fault. Mint’s problem (in my opinion) is that she didn’t extract herself from the situation. If she knows it’s extremely hard for her to move on while being friends with Dew, she should do whatever it takes to avoid him: move away or just stop interacting with him, having explained to him that it’s not his fault but she needs space.
As for the scene on the staircase where she denies that Dew might be gay - I think he’s told her about his sexual orientation and they are in agreement to cover it up by fake dating. That’s just my theory based on Mint’s facial expressions during that scene. Of course, I might be wrong - we’ll see 😊
But I do like your theory about the reverse trope 👍

Yesss, hopefully season 2 with Alex and RJ 🥂
