Soooo… it was just an allergic reaction 😏 Nobody drugged your girl… chill, my guy lol. All this fightin’…
loving the male lead so far but that scene with the whole fight after he sees her zonked out? good sir, use your words. “did you do this?” or a “what happened?” that entire scene came out from left field. or maybe a single punch across the face followed by a IT WASNT ME would have been sufficient!
I nearly deceased when he asked “so what are your thoughts about that” in reference to her finding about their lack of blood relations. I had to pause for my health.

currently on episode 5. her disdain for Chong zhao is a little too much after she finds out what he is. it’s not like he can reveal his secret to mortals, it’s like…rule number 1 to not do that. and now she going through life saying he lied to her. the magnitude of his “betrayal” is a little misplaced imo. leaves the viewer (me) just sitting here like okay girl you making a mountain out of a mole hill. 🫠 still hanging in there though. waiting for a hook since this drama was nicely rated
gahhh i just started. and im trying to feel out the chemistry too. I don’t….really FEEL it yet. but everyone’s…
nah you’re right. I finished the drama. excellent watch. but even at the very end, minimal spark. sometimes I wonder if the director or production team knew that their chemistry was lacking since they used super bright flashing lights in all the intimate scenes. it was over the top and distracting
Lucky for them though, their love story wasn’t central to the plot. so I think they were able to get away with the little chemistry they had. I’d like to think if their chemistry was BETTER like love in the clouds chemistry, I’d prob be upset over how little onscreen cutesy time the main couple had.
I really enjoyed this drama. The romance between the male and female leads wasn’t always front and center—it…
romance not being central to the plot also helped bc the leads just didn’t have that chemistry. both were amazing actors but they simply didn’t have the spark. I was shipping Jingyan and xiyang at the end bc that was the chemistry I desperately craved.
