hm wow. I guess I never saw it like this. we all knew as the audience that he loves her dearly and has been waiting for years to accept his heart and that she also loves him back so I guess I never felt annoyed when she would unconsciously be allowed to take advantage of him. I mean long story short, he didn’t push her away bc he liked it and he loves her and enjoys her physical touch. and it’s assumed that the audience would be okay with this despite the lack of consent bc well, they’re the male and female lead. but yeah if some rando roomie sleepwalks and touches me or tries to kiss me, you best believe I’d shake them awake or scream loudly. just perspective is all, and yours is valid.

second leads weren’t BAD. but I think first leads were just TOO GOOD. ya know?

second leads started out really promising and then gramps came in here and….and… tbh I don’t know what happened bc I ended up skipping all his scenes.

crazy. it used to be incredibly hard like 4-5 years ago.

I actually don’t think this was good at all. completely my personal opinion, very sorry to offend anyone as this is not my intention. it was all fluff and no substance. yeah it’s nice to see the characters interact but without hardship and sOME conflict, the good moments don’t feel very special at all. the conflicts she did have was with her ex and that didn’t feel significant at all. she just kept crying when we already knew she was interested in he suye. I would have liked to see more interactions between the ex and her in order to justify her tears. otherwise, felt like she was making a mountain out of a mole hill. I also don’t like how the female lead constantly looked pristine. her hair when she woke up, how it was always nicely clipped, make up etc I think it took away from the drama bc it was a constant reminder that she is like a trophy female lead - in the same vein as a trophy wife.

I think this drama was nothing more than fanservice. I mean I LOVEEEE ZLH but I mean c‘mon…compare this role to his role in Kunning palace when there were true barriers in their relationship, and sticky misunderstandings and rank and pride involved. this was just a long trailer of male and female lead having superficial intimate moments… JUST MY TWO CENTS. I really don’t wanna fight. 😭 just want to validate that yeah some people didn’t enjoy this and it should be okay.

this drama is like a better executed version of AASOL. I mean I liked both but I really LOVE FF. I don’t know if it’s the male lead character who just carried the show with his unconditional love and female lead’s gradual acceptance of his love. sometimes Lin Yi Yang could look a little intense. but Sang Yan never looked intense, just…loving

this is clearly at least a 9.5 on here. I’ve never seen so many positive comments even after the last episodes since dramas usually falter at the end. I don’t know how FF did this. it’s incredible

that was the best sh*t I ever watched in my life. thank you China. thank you BJT. thank you ZRN. thank you Zhu Yi. everything I want in a romantic cdrama and more. what a show man.
