Yes, they gave him a forced makeover and then they forced Lili to be with him. It was illogical and unrealistic
I gotta be honest I had to skip all their parts. it didn’t feel right and they never matched from the beginning. either that or her chemistry with XYX was just better.
the actress playing Di was casted wrong. she looks older than the character should be.
i agree! i was confused when she was casted as a love rival because she looks much more mature than FL. thought she was a mentor at first. Crazy thing though is, she and seven tan are both the same age, 34. o_o
He is dying , he used his forgiveness card before his last breath
forgiveness card also bc she made him promise that he can’t leave before she does. but unfortunately he does pass before her so he holds onto the card while holding onto her hand, asking for forgiveness that he has to leave first. I cried.
I loved Han Ting’s outfit when they went to the park to celebrate the cat’s birthday. Xu Kai looked very handsome!
okay okay THAT outfit, or his outfit in the car when he’s trying to woo his woman with their cat? showing her a photo and whatnot. bc his thick cardi in that scene was also *chefs kiss*
The speech to him in the hospital room was good. Shows how much she’s grown to understand him but reminding…
that speech was everything!! but was anyone else bothered by the loud backgro-FOREGROUND music?? what in tarnation. I couldnt hear her speak i was so annoyed esp since both leads were pouring their heart out into that scene.
I was so proud of JX when she finally stood up to ZD for the first time and was not inferior to that stupid bitch.…
I was waiting for a scene where ZD would address her as Ji Tzong bc JX always showed her respect and called her Zeng Tzong. I dont think I ever remember watching such a scene though. Sigh ZD, shes trapped in a one sided love situation, forever held back by jealousy.
My guess is they are trying to show us that they didn't really meet by accident (if you remember how they first…
im guessing its a very open to interpretation - that ending bike scene. I wasnt sure what to make of it myself. but i definitely flashed back to when he was in the hospital and she said let's start over and they greeted each other like Mr Han and Miss Ji.
I dont know how this drama is an 8, it's at least an 8.5. That was so well done. Realistic conflicts that add to the growth of the leads' relationship. I enjoyed it so much. lately, dramas have been starting strong and ending poorly for me. I havent even finished TPR or LYF2 and those were my two HIGHLY anticipated dramas.
What a satisfying ending. Also, that extra episode with the forgiveness card. I wasn't ready. I think that scene will stay with me for the rest of my asian-drama-watching-days.
currently on episode 38 and taking my sweet time. I’m starting to notice JX’s shorts or dresses are getting shorter and shorter IN the office. like Miss Ma’am? what kind of business is this?! esp when she gets invited by HT to meet that star and she’s wearing this long or short military coat situation. why costume dept doing her dirty like this
