but recently I just started rewatching all the episodes and noticed the drama hasn’t touched on Haein’s hallucinations of her older brother. I wonder if that means anything. that her brother’s spirit will save her? kinda fantasy like though. not sure how her brother would be incorporated into this story.
hey has anyone mentioned several visions of her older brother? in Germany after the kiss and then when she goes missing from the clinic bc she chasing after the vision of her brother? the drama hasn’t really told us much about that. I just thought of it. what if her brother is her miracle somehow?
Apparently that is the last song that will be released. Gives me hope for a happy ending lol
omg for real??? 🥹 I didn’t know they’re released in accordance with the vibe progression of the drama. thanks for the info. now my expectations for a HE are sky high.

oh nice! so its coming. <3 all the songs have a somewhat saddish feel to it. glad they're ending on a good note then. maybe youre right that it'll be a happy ending then!
what is that upbeat happy song at the end of episode 3 and it plays randomly throughout the episodes? Anyone know if that's going to get released soon?
Question..... ". What kind of ending would you not want to see in QOT". ❥❥❥❥Do you think Eunsung will…
I decided as much as I LOVE happily ever afters, I dont want it for this one unless its somehow realistic and tastefully done. (i.e. no call from doc hey! jk, the scans were wrong. or huzzah! theres a magic pill from zimbabwe and it'll cure you!) There hasnt been any miracles leading up to episode 12. Her illness has been very realistic and standard and reflective of a terminal illness where she is given only 3 months to live. Symptoms are progressing quickly and theyre not just your average headache, shes actually losing facial recognition, not realizing time has passed and getting physically lost.
I mentioned a few days ago that it'd probably be a bittersweet ending. She'll likely have a few years to live and enjoy time with Hyunwoo and her entire family. Share wonderful moments celebrating life but she will inevitably pass. She may be survived by a couple of her children too if writers want to go that route.
I hate Eunsong too as much as the next person but I do feel for the guy. If you think about, his life sucks. Its literally a living h*ll. Mom had him in prison, he was abandoned to an orphanage and abused there, had to move to a different country and was abused by his adoptive parents. ALL THE WHILE, he actually knew his real mother. There's a difference when parents pass away and are forced to leave their child. But when a parent willingly abandons their kid, thats some next level psychological childhood trauma ish. I think his mother is the one to blame here, more than anyone. I think she deserves retribution and I can't wait to see her day of reckoning.
Note: I am NOT invalidating his evil deeds bc he had a rough childhood. He'll probably end up in prison in a small cell watching Queens empire grow and Baekhong on television super happy celebrating one trillion club. Then his heart will shatter into a million pieces when her death is announced on television and he cannot go to the funeral and he has zero fond memories of them together to fall back on. So he continues to live with paralyzing trauma, deep remorse and overwhelming guilt for the rest of his days in prison, where he was born.
I think this is highly unlikely. I think the drama would want grandpa to go out with dignity and on his own terms.…
interesting notion. the idea of what is worse for a character - suicide vs murder. anyone else care to chime in?
although i dont think writers or anyone for that matter was glorifying suicide. id like to think no one was clapping when grandpa clutched tightly to his wheels and started pushing forward. I mean, i was tearing up myself.
Random thought: What if grandpa didn’t commit s**cide but was k*lled instead by Seul Hee or Eun Seong? What…
I think this is highly unlikely. I think the drama would want grandpa to go out with dignity and on his own terms. he’s the patriarch of the Hong empire. to be killed by the hands of those cockroaches seems a bit offensive to his character.
not to mention they need him alive so she can continue to have power of attorney over all his possessions
I have been thinking similar to you, and I dare say that Haein will be saved when he has some transplant that…
I’m no oncologist or neurosurgeon but I don’t think you can get transplants specifically for gliomatosis cerebri. it’s not like leukemia where someone can get bone marrow transplants.
I’d like to think he came to terms with his faults and accomplishments. and in the end, he’s always been a…
I’m surprised the drama didnt tie up loose ends with beomja and the older brother before grandpas passing. I’m surprised but also okay with it. I think it’s realistic. sometimes in life, actually, oftentimes in real life, you really don’t get that second chance…
