yeah. i think her relationship with SRQ was more like companionship. her relationship with PWX is deep deep passion that ran one way in her past life -hate, and is now running another way -love. You only feel this entire spectrum of emotions for people you truly have in your heart.

I understand that the push and pull relationship LR currently has with PWX comes off as annoying for viewers but maybe the angle in which many are viewing it is off. Has anyone watched red sleeve on here? For those of you that have, do you remember the annoying push and pull relationship she had with the king? It was obvious that she loved him but she kept refusing him for a good chunk of the storyline and we were left with this kind of.... what the heck man.
if we think about it closely though, what if remaining resolute about not pursuing her relationship with the king was what she wanted because she valued her independence so much more? and that every time she allowed herself to love him and showed feelings for him, *that* was actually the king and her feelings breaking her resolve? so it comes off as her being indecisive but its actually her being decisive about not pursing the relationship but literally being unable to keep her feelings inside anymore bc she loves him so much.
I feel like similarly, this is the case we have here. I think its more about LR being resolute about NOT starting a relationship with PWX again (her push), BUT every time she falters and falls for him is her not being able to control her affection for him (her pull). and this is because its hard to relearn the lessons she lived in her past life. SRQ had main lead energy in her past life, it might be hard for her to forget that. I also dont think she loves him, but she likely doesnt want to hurt him.

I must agree. I used to be her biggest fan but I couldn’t help but feel that she started playing similar roles. I do wonder though, with her popularity and ZLH’s, will they soon be casted in a drama together?!
did anyone catch PWX’s servant/assistant slap his own mouth when he suggested that PWX and LR go elsewhere when they were both caught hugging (he was leaning on her after his punishment) in front of Pei mansion? hahaha didn’t catch it the first time!
so far, PWX’s speech in the rain and now LR’s speech in front of his fam are my fave scenes. of course apart from any and all romantic scenes between them.
this drama started slow for me. and I wasn’t sure if ZJM was handling this powerful and regal role to the level that it needed to be at. the chemistry at the beginning was also questionable for me but I kept pushing through bc I love both of these actors. i figured the writing had something to do with it too - just wasn’t feeling it. but I think ZJM has really been able to make this role her own. that mature woman trapped in young girls body storyline, I can kinda see it. PWX’s character is WRITTEN for ZLH. this boy is hot af and he’s going places for sure.
definitely loving it much more now bc of all the cute scenes between them. I do have a question about Qin ZhenZhen. I don’t quite understand how and why she had to become her personal guard?
is viki ever going to have the same non delayed air time…?? I’m tired of this. it used to air on time, then two days later and now it’s like 18 episodes later.
