16 episodes and we only get one actual real kiss. thanks tvn.
*spoilers below if you havent watched last episode*
this drama really had it made. They were set up to win and they just threw the last few episodes. no need for the car crash and getting shot. what does that do for the audience other than create more unnecessary sadness with only one episode left.
It really wasnt hard to make this a winner. Give Eunsong a small redeeming arc. There's no need for him to meet such a violent and tragic end. Give fans two episodes of joy with Hyunwoo and Haein together. The leads are in a new relationship again, its as if he is courting her again and she can fall for him one more time. Give us the 5 handholds so they can get to a hug, and let us see their "second" first kiss and flash it back to their first one so we can see how much their love is just the same. heck, give us another wedding, lets see the in laws happy together in this joyous celebration. Let's see them eat and drink in sheer bliss at their wedding. And if they want to show them have a baby again, show them redecorating the nursery together, putting up the stars again.
Then show us how she inherits all of queens and how she reigns her empire with Hyunwoo by her side. Also? give us more scenes with Secretary Na because shes freaking fantastic. Show us the new seating area and play area in Queens dept store and how the stock skyrockets under her new management style. And show us that she makes it to the one trillion club.
can you recommend some you think are better than this?

all of these dramas have better writing and a more satisfying watch imo than this drama. but like @dieatlastmoment mentioned, its the cast and cinematography that reigns supreme in this drama, making it special.
I think I am in love with Secretary Na. She stole the show.
I replayed that scene when they were hiding behing the rock wall in Yongduri so many times. "whats your deal? *scoffs* WHATS YOUR DEAL" she's a natural
I'm confused, did hae in's memory recover or did she just start crying because of the diary?
i dont think it has recovered. she seemed to be feeling some type of way already esp with the stalking she was doing since his release from prison. i think her notebook to herself was more of a reassurance of why shes been feeling this way and probably some guilt sprinkled in there too.
you know whats not tropey? actually letting the leads get together before the last episode. :O and having leads fight villians tOGEther. you're welcome, writers. this one's on the house
Just realized, they could have hugged and be fully immersed in each other's sweet embrace after crossing the street and tomorrow's episode *still* could have been eunsong trying to shoot them in the forest and literally nothing would have changed except the hearts of viewers would be consoled and content.
i give up at this point. i feel like the writer just wants us to cry by doing anything and literally everything.…
I kind of want a sad ending now. At least its not tropey. Previously i wanted a happy one because i was so INVESTED. but after these last few episodes im like. Okay yeah whatevers man.
I get why the writing might suck for some people. I totally do, but to be honest the characters and acting make…
i think it has something to do with the first part of this drama being FANTASTIC but second part is like wtf. And its knowing that first part was so good, there is no reason why second part has to suck like this. It almost feels like betrayal. I have been nothing but loyal and yet, i feel like I have been done dirty.
this entire drama pulled me up just to push me down.
what the heck kind of writing is this. I was raving about this drama for weeks since this drama started but ever since episode 13, this drama has been taking a nose dive with the lazy writing. I can't even fully recommend it anymore. they give us short scenes of sweetness but never in full and I cant help but feel like we've been dragged through the mud long enough, the audience deserves some satisfying peace even if it was midway through. It has actually becoming annoying now; I feel like im being strung along and not in a good way.
the sudden treatment that became available already left a bad taste in my mouth. like thats it? thats all she can come up with? and the side effect of amnesia. Like is that what we're doing for such a highly viewed/rated/anticipated drama? we get these "solutions" at the core of the drama but then we get these meaningless scenes with beomja and soocheol that take up SO MUCH SCREENTIME. I dont understand how the producers/directors think audience members still care about these secondary storylines at these last few episodes. I might have cared in episode 8 or 9. Maybe even 12. But episode fifteen?? its ridiculous. I skipped through all of that.
How about more about the secret fund? I'd be interested in that. Exactly how Eunsong is falling into Hyunwoo's trap. I legit almost forgot it's part of Hyunwoo's plan bc this drama has become a mixed medley of meaningless scenes. And does anyone remember when Eunsong was introduced at the party? Everyone wanted to talk to him. He had money and power. So all that hes worked for his entire life is now gone? Why did the writing diminish his character into a pathetic person who has now resorted to killing? I appreciate smart villians, not psychotic ones. There's this disconnect with his character from start to finish.
And finally, the car crash. why. why the car crash if in the preview he's trudging through the snow like he barely bumped into a parked car? What does this do for the audience? Make us want them to be together more? I already wanted that for 15 episodes. And I can't seem to care much anymore. I'm tired of this. I'm so disappointed.
