I also like HOW the leads in LBFAD fell in love. It was through the differences and resolutions and constant bickering and mutual respect that led them to appreciate each other's personalities. It just makes all of us want that same kind of love. And the way the drama did it is so cute too! DFQC telling Orchid that she has to stay by his side and that he'll make her happy no matter the cost. Haha so she thinks he "likes" her but he really just wants her healthy for his own agenda. So cute and creative.

I think it's how the characters continue to develop with each passing episode. No filler episodes. And I think there's a real conflict with this drama, that theyre simply not allowed to be together and this basic problem (along with alllll the other conflicts) keeps the audience interested to see how they're going to solve it. Dylan's face and LingHe's face also helps keep the audience too I'm sure. bahahah

This is way better than galaxy, at the very least the love story is much more captivating. I think the reason why I had such a problem with Galaxy was the drama didn't give us a reason why the ML fell in love with the FL. It all started with a finger point and all of a sudden, he loves her. And of course ML kept keeping things from FL. But for LBFAD, you can witness their relationship growing through different obstacles and you can see the characters change as they start to get to know each other. I think what also makes their love story so unique is that in regular dramas, conflicts usually arise from misunderstandings and unspoken words and obviously the audience is aware of them and then it becomes frustrating to watch sometimes. But for this drama, they spell out their feelings and thoughts for one another as best they can while respecting the other person. And specifically the ML is given the choice to understand FL's true feelings with the ring and the hairpin but HE CHOOSES NOT TO even if it risks misunderstandings. Also for this drama, the conflict IS that they are not allowed to be together and they're literally from two different worlds but they're simply attracted to each other despite all the odds against them. So this story is already a win. And coupled with the acting and dialogue and costumes and scenery and comedic moments.. ugh. With only 8 episodes left, I'm going to miss this so much.

they basically made all the most important scenes in the last 9-10 episodes, which conveniently were those that we had to pay an express package for. I liked this drama but i didn't LOVE it. also, the ending episodes with CSS almost getting killed 2 times by a knife in the hands of a jealous woman was like um okay, I just saw this though - we get it, people hate you. And I know the overarching theme of this story is revenge is bad, live your life and stare at the beautiful night sky but why they gotta create two new stories of revenge AFTER the whole LBY coming back 5 years later?? I didn't even have time to process why they were being so vengeful since those two stories kinda came outta nowhere.

Should have been the other way around if you ask me. 1 murder attempt and 3 kisses. 🙄

Sounds like no one wins but the network. Express package folks have to pay extra. Non package folks have to wait but then also get spoiled.

Hey team, I’m extremely confused by all the politics going on and the scheming, can someone please shed some light for me in plain English? I know CSS dad is being framed. What is going on with the Li guy that just got killed in the fire? Someone did that intentionally right? And why is Li’s wife telling them to go dig up those body’s 30 lis away? Also who were those bodies? And what were those four officials talking about outside of the majesty’s office? Who is Lou Ben and Ma rong? And Yan Zhong?

This is embarrassing bc I’ve watched every single episode but I can’t seem to follow all the details. Needless to say I’m really here just for the romance but I’d also like to understand the political side as well. I figured I’m missing out. Please help! TIA

Why us….?! This is probably the only drama where I always sit through the opening theme song. And that says a lot because I can’t wait to watch the next new episode
