I was one of those folks unsure of his acting skills. I watched him in MG and even though I loved him, he def had a lot of room for improvement. And then of course I share the same general sentiment about him in LBFAD. But FOR ME, being hesitant about female lead is a separate issue. Watched her in Ashes and she was great but watched her as the FL in And the Winner is Love and I was unimpressed at best. I'm interested to see her in this though! Who knows? Their chemistry could be amazing.

Fascinating. How do these three platforms compete with each other when it comes to airing these dramas? Like who gets the most popular ones, the ones that fans are most excited to see? And is this going to be S+?

Was it censorship or something that held it back? So unfortunate. Loved both LYX and BL in Love is Sweet. Honestly I’m going to get a little confused if these dramas come out back to back. BL in two costume dramas haha

It’s funny bc I’ve been waiting what feels like decades for TTEOTM and this drama wasn’t even on my radar. I just discovered SOKP and it’s even set to release before TTEOTM!

Aw! I love ZLH I think his acting is very genuine and not cringey at all. It also helps that he’s very handsome. Haha I’m really looking forward to this drama since I love Bailu too!

Side soapbox, I wish we can say how we feel without needing to apologize in advance or let others know to not hurt us when we form an opinion. I’ve been burned by a delulu disrespectful fan recently just by saying how I felt about an actress. I ended up having to delete my post out of fear and basically sadness.

I feel like her acting skills ARE THERE but maybe she hasn't developed a wider range of skills just yet. I personally am not the hugest fan of hers simply because I stan other female actresses that I feel have better acting chops. But who knows, maybe this drama is going to be her super breakthrough drama. Also, I love your pf picture/gif.

Oh man, believe me when I say I feel you about not liking the FL here. I watched her in Ashes of Love and I felt like she was super good in there , like I cried when she cried. I think I just can't see her as FL... only as second FL. It might be as you said that she seems to have a very limited acting range so it becomes difficult to see her in a different light.

I also thought DiDi was going to blow it for LBFAD because I saw him in MG and was like umm sir, you are very good looking but your acting skills have much room for improvement. BUT THEN HIS ACTING IN LBFAD whew. He really improved and I'm so so impressed. He seems to really fit these "evil" roles with his slanty eyes and spot on glares so I'm really looking forward to this drama as it seems like another very fitting role for him.

Definitely going to watch this drama for him but I also look forward to being completely wrong about Yukee! Please let me be wrong.

When I was watching ZLH from maiden holmes, they always had BTS at the end of the episodes and I remember hearing ZLH's voice and either I couldn't help but compare it to the voice actor or I just didn't like his natural voice but THIS CLIP. Ommo. His voice. *chef's kiss*

Yessss please please original voicess!! I've watched ZLH in maiden holmes and LBFAD and he was dubbed in both... Just wanna hear him act in his own voice!
