My question wasn’t why, it was since when.
And no, it’s not because I missed a science class — I know how leap years work. We all do (hopefully).
I just thought this show was deep. Like Lost (time loops,hidden meanings…)-level mystery, but with better lighting and less yelling in the jungle. So naturally, I started wondering: “Wait… is this whole thing a time loop? Is everything repeating? Has it been happening for centuries? .... And then came this week's episode😕 So maybe I should dial down the galaxy-brain theorizing and accept the supernatural soap opera for what it is - good old-fashioned, TV-grade curse.

I was sick, and my brain needed something easy and mindless.
A little bit of 2gether, a little bit of Duen from My Engineer, a little bit of this, a little bit of that…I watch too many BL dramas.

Try watching Reset — it has a promising start.

I usually stay away from them, but there are a few I actually like.

Yes, I like it! I’m a sucker for this kind of plot — mysterious, deep, full of meaning… or at least pretending to be. But this last episode? Oh dear…
They try to explore big topics — free will, morality, love, friendship, good vs. evil, the purpose of the universe (and we all know the correct answer is 42). Very noble. Very deep. Very... things.
It’s like a never-ending carousel ride: round and round, episode after episode, throwing in new questions and giving… exactly zero answers. And there I am — convinced there’s some profound truth beneath it all. And then I get mad at myself for falling for it again.But the worst part? The whole time, my brain is screaming:“There’s a dark, mind-blowing, heartbreaking secret at the core of everything! I can feel it! It’s coming! I swear!”…And then it doesn’t. Or maybe it does. But it’s episode 9 out of 12, and I’m still waiting — desperately wanting to know how they’ll change their fate.

Okey. Armin…You are rebooting. Now put on Armin Van Buuren and and say ‘Blah Blah Blah’ to everyone who tried to break you.
I love these kinds of stories.

Love Mechanics... was my little obsession for a while (during Covid) — I even went full curiosity mode and read the novel!
When it comes to BL dramas, I’m all about the fluff and sugar — no emotional roller coasters for me. Just give me soft boys, sweet moments, and zero heartbreak.

I absolutely love A Tale of a Thousand Stars. Have you seen it?

I was like, “Wait, what message is everyone getting here that completely flew over my head?” But hey, I kept watching, hoping the show would magically improve. Maybe I enjoy disappointment. Who knows?
I still think Eric Northman from True Blood is the sexiest vampire. ☺️☺️☺️

Some of the life and intrigue seem to be missing around the main characters. I don't know.It's not bad, but it's boring to watch for those who know the original.

Honestly, they all need therapy.

The cast worked wonders with what they had. I'm not kidding. They were out there fighting for their lives against a script that flatlined on page two.
The characters are so flat and boring — they just sit there, talking to the camera, explaining how they feel.
Tong expresses a total of three emotions — all with the same facial expression. He can do more. I’ve seen him in better roles.
Mark plays a vampire — high energy, sexy — whose entire character development revolves around taking his shirt off. That’s it. He deserves better.
Tonkla is uninteresting; his personality is stuck on “annoying and serious.” Seriously?! 😱 This is Neo we’re talking about! And this is what they gave him? Criminals.
Nakan is literally the only good thing in the entire show — and even that gets ruined by the end.
I could go on forever, because the list of flaws in this series is genuinely endless. ☺️
The plot was rushed, character development non-existent, and the big showdown with Thara felt like speed-running a boss battle just to get to the bath scene. Priorities, I guess?
I really hope Revamp: The Undead Story is more interesting.

They basically took the source material and inserted their own ideas and situations. That's not bad. I The changes do put a bit of a new take on things.

Not only the finale, but also the entire series was mediocre.
As a romance, this didn't really work for me. The relationship between Mark and Tong is very rushed and strange, all spiciness and no depth.
As a vampire story - wtf???? and the writing was atrocious.The drama near the end is a forcibly.I mean, I get it. It's important. They want to end it and forget it. But it felt so hastily and stupidly.
Тhe beginning was really promisin and then something went wrong.

It's been a whole week with this show.Subtly. I liked it so much.It has it all -It combines mysterious, drama, thriller and an unbelievable tale that grips you from the start.

I thought that vampires were killed by wooden stakes through the heart, fire, and decapitation. 😎
You can always learn something new...but I hope Count Dracula isn't watching this.
