I have not seen enough kdrama with infedility to identify a usual treatment . I am just saying it depends on the story and on the ground of the cheating behavior. It can still be understandable and the story can be enjoyable.

The lead actor was in the movie "Mood of love" which had infidelity and cheating on your partner in it. Still it was good. Hope this one will be good too even if it has infidelity.

I also like that she will portray a more darker and complex character in a complicated relationship.

Not fan of infidelity either but it depends on what the bottom of the story is and how it is told. One drama I really like is "Before we get married" . Even if it is about infidelity and cheating, I thought it was very good.

I have never seen a married woman in an historical kdrama going to wander with a friend or talking to stranger casually. But like I said maybe this is Daeho progressism...

I agree she is free spirited and direct and outspoken but... There are things she cannot do as a married woman . I think the marriage thing failed...

What I mean is the women interacting with their lover or partner look very modern but interacting with the rest of the characters they are very proper...

A married woman should not behave like that this is why I fear something happened to their marriage plans.

Still it does not fit with the reserve and how women in the drama behave towards men.

I agree with you that ML really mistreated his ex gf because of his guilt. He logically did not have to treat her like that considering their relationship. He lied to her that he was breaking up because he could not stand himself and he could not be in a relationship. But the truth is he broke up her with her because he could not stand her face anymore because his younger brother died bringing the engagement ring he intended to give to her. This is a lie he made.

But this does not make the ML unlikable to me. It makes him human. Because humans are not always all logic and the right things in the right order. ML needing FL to tell him to go to the funeral of his ex's mom that was wrong too. He should have known better but nobody is perfect and she did give him hard times.

I would say ML did a lot of wrong things but he can redeem himself. He should. If he really wants to be happy in a new life with a new lover. Looks like things are going to be challenging for him. He is not going to be a decent guy before some time but ok, I am watching this to see him do things right. Hope I won't be disappointed.
