It is because the writer gave the whole first ep to HJP depicting him as a poor orphan helping boy fighting to enter college... So many viewers chose him as the one who will win the race, lift the cup and kiss the princess.

Among drama fans when you have chosen your side, you will not easily change and you would defend that side using any argument possible. From this point it was not about story or logic anymore. The SML fans would just see what they wanted to see.

There is another drama from the same writer Park Hye Ryun called Dream High where the SML also appears first for more than an episode and people liked him but the FL still chooses the ML. I guess the writer wanted to use the same trick here but she missed the target and made SML flawed in many ways but too adorable and many viewers did not see him like she wanted them to see him. On that point she also did not anticipate that KSH's dimples would be devastating for her writing of the SML.

Sticking at the events of the story which set the three main characters + fake penfriend NDS, the last image of ep1 already told the endgame.

History is not here to govern people's life using past logics, mentality, patterns, values... It is here to help people have a better understanding of their present but their future is in their hands. They can take inspiration from it but they still have their own choice to make regarding the direction they want to go.

This applies to places where people have the right to choose for themselves of course and no other people choose for them by brainwashing them into a direction using history.

The big bad chairman is particulary annoying because he ordered to kill and lock people but they also want to portray him as a lover caring for his victim, a father caring for his son's future, a poor victim of other bad guys... This is bs for me.

Yeah he should probably confront his dad or call the cops but in his situation, I understand that he chooses to handle things his own way. I regret he is not more proactive considering the degree of importance his dad gives to the mom and to the daughter.

At first I thought crown prince is his designated adversary. But it is too obvious. Probably there is a bigger threat behind the CP.

She can see the future of the people she touches. She can induce people she touches into doing things she wants them to do. She can also send shockwaves to block time and freeze a time bomb's countdown... More importantly, she can make people buy fish...

It is one rare time I see such a clueless lead couple. They are cute together but they have no idea what is happening. They just stick together and get away with it thanks to some deus ex machina superpower.

Character wise, I like the SML better. Ok he is wooden face but at least he swims with the sharks and tries to help as much as he can. I like Wang Yoon Ho and his son better. The guy is one rare good guy with a brain to act accordingly with his values. I even like Seon Dong Shik that lunatic. At least he is a consistent lunatic. I also love the neighborhood better even if they schemed to take FL to go see a shaman.

Main villain Seon Sam Joon please stop with his mood swings. The guy had ML's mother killed and he ordered attempt killing of ML so what the heck with his love for the woman he kept prisoner for so long when he asks his son to be a ruthless beast? Could not care less about his bs talking.

This drama has cute and funny things but it also has some really nonsensical annoying things... And I have to say (Please do not assassinate me) ML's acting is a bit lacking for a ML actor...

This drama is weird...

Loads of suffering here... Please... people have the right to seek happiness with the person they love and the children they wish to have. Do not make them die in the name of something bigger like the people or the country or whatever bs. They look so good. I just want them to end up together and happy forever after.

Nowadays people from around the world can play an orchestra in one physical place and a doctor in London will soon be able to perform surgery on a patient in Jakarta. Globalization is good for the human race.

I do not know about "intergalactic culture" but if we humans can survive long enough to colonize the Moon and Mars, the people there will evolve differently and at a different speed. So yes, we could have an "interplanetary culture".

Studying history is good to know where we come from. We all come from Africa. But new generations must know it doesn't tell us where we must go. That does not depend on the past. It depends on how we understand and respect each other and it is not done but projecting the past on the present and acting in a way to retake something lost in the meantime. Everyday news show us that logic will just be the end of us.

Maybe I will if my watching list runs too short ...

I just did not adhere to the universe in a close future and the concept of judging like it is a spectacle. It is good if you enjoyed it. It was just not my cup of tea.

The FL is married and there is no romance tag so probably not. Or maybe one with the SFL?

Ji Sung is one of the best actors in kdrama so this dual role should fit him perfectly. I dropped The devil Judge but will definitively try this one. Love the FL actress too. Too bad there is no romance but ok, I am also fine with a very dark story.

Trailer is fun. This kind of historical fiction with a modern slapstick humour is refreshing. And the leads looks good too. Will try this one.
