2521 has more depth and meanings and it is fun too. A business proposal is guilty pleasure something to watch…
2521 looks the story of Na Hee Do. Her character is the most important as we learn about her family background, her quirky tomboyish style, a girl with a lot of energy and strong will to find resources and make her dream come true. She fights all the challenges head on: her mom, school, rivals, bad luck... and she improves step by step.
Baek Yi Jin arc of story is confusing. His background is unclear, his struggles with his bro his parents are not so interesting. His decision making is "not good when he is supposed to be older and wise. We don't see him fighting to reach stepstones towards a dream. So he is not someone viewers can really root for or cheer for. He is like a suppporting character who disappears in the present days. The good thing about his story are mainly the funny moments.
I find this drama has depth and meaning because of the FL, her special relationship with her coach, her rival which is more complex and interesting than her relationship with ML even if it is cute and genuine like true friends.
Also I am watching this from the perspective of the grand daughter. How her grandmother who was so unsupportive became a good grand mother. How her mother who was a cheerful teen with a big fighting spirit became an average single mother and an plain ajhumma. Who is her dad? What happened that her mom and that man Baek Yi Jin split ways and never saw each other for years.
So far it is one of the most engaging drama I am following. I will try Lost when I have some time since you praised it.
Perhaps the most exciting and entertaining kdrama currently, so step aside Forecasting Love and Weather and Twenty-five…

All I can see is a copy of characters from What's Wrong With Secretary Kim. I'm not talking about the story or…
I don't think this is a WWWSK copycat This one has a sillyness that WWWSK does not have. People might like it or not, but so far it does not take itself seriously and it is just fun to watch. Not sure it can keep the distance on 12 episodes like that but after 2 eps I like it a lot more than WWWKS (that I dropped after ep4 or 5). Here ML looks to have no clue on some aspects but he is sensible and bold on some others. And FL is so goofy. But ok, many people like WWWSK so I guess it has its own qualities too. I am just saying, it is not the same thing for me.
They are still producing stupid dramas like this? 😷😬
It is cliché but it is not stupid. Stupid means the plot is like a headless chicken running everywhere. But here, it is silly and most things can be seen incoming from ten miles away. Still it is a consistent and a funny story with two fun leads and two promising secondary leads. I don't say it will not be a catastrophy but so far, it makes me laugh. So I am happy with it.
For example, at the end when she falls on him and their lips touch. It is very common in kdramas.
I tried HYD some years ago but dropped it early. I do not even remember the storyline so it was still a surprise for me in F4. HYD had plenty of remakes but I guess this one if the only one I'll finish.

I am watching F4 Thailand after I put Samee Chua Keun on hold. I tried My Beloved In Law as I really like the two main leads but the drama is not really working for me. I am not hooked to the point I am waiting to see the next scene. I will try Love Forever After maybe but my watching list is so long already...
I like Min Gue too, he is a really good actor - he proved it in Snowdrop. As soon as I see him now, I remember…
I loved the actor in Snowdrop. The character? Well he was annoying but still I could understand and have sympathy for him. About his demise... well ... in line with his overall trajectory... Glad to see the actor in here.
Do you think that Taxi Driver is shallow in terms of characters? I was thinking to start it soon, but I dislike…
Regarding the characters of Taxi driver, I would say they are consistent enough. We can see where most of them come from and it explain their choices and behavior but the problem is it does not justify what they do. It is fun to see. All these bad people beaten to the pulp and punished but in the end, their moral compass is vey questionable as well.
Personally, I had a problem with these vigilantes. The show was fun and entertaining but looking at it closely from a psychological and moral perspective, it is not so great. Worst thing if the FL who looks quite independent and strong in the beginning, she slowly let down her principles and I just did not understand why this choice from her part in the end...
Regarding Do Bae Man, after one ep, there is probably an organization of vigilantes in the loop. I don't mind and I am curious how prosecutor Do Bae Man will collide and work against them or with them. I just hope it will be well told and not too morally questionnable.
It's so cliché especially the end of ep2 but I like the dynamic between the two main leads. They are cute and fun to watch. I am expecting more from the secondary couple. I guess their part has not started yet.
Ratings usually fluctuate a lot during the few first episode. Better to not trust them for the moment. But I think this drama is not for eveyone to like. So far ep1 it is quite silly and very cliché.
Not really what I was expecting. I guess there will be a lot of beating up and less psychology. Something like Taxi driver maybe? I will try a few more eps see if the plot is entertaining.
They were both at fault. He was thinking about something and she was on the phone. They both did not pay attention to the environment and collided. It happens in life.
If she was smitten by his face, it is her own problem. Not his. His problem is he totally ignored her... lol.
