I enjoyed these two episodes. I wonder if second leads are a couple on their own?? I don't want love triangle,…
I don't think we will escape a love triangle... Go Geon is Pyeong Gang's former friend and her sword master and he is already curious about that assassin who attacked the king. From his perspective we could say he "is legitimate to" fall in love with her...
There is a big gap of age between the two leads and for me ep1 hinted at past and possible romance (at least love interest) between each lead and another character.
In Dinner Mate, his character had issues with his dad and he had to dump his girlfriend then he became some crazy…
I agree with you it's not good to be confined in always the same roles. Maybe like said above, he won't need to be the main villain here. I just hope his character is complex and has credibility and depth.
Is LJH playing villain role again? I just can't see him being wasted on a type cast role, in every drama he is…
In Dinner Mate, his character had issues with his dad and he had to dump his girlfriend then he became some crazy psycho doing bad deeds and obsessed with his ex. I found him really good in that role as I hated the character. So here I can trust him to be good when torn between his filial duty and the feelings he will probably develop for the FL. But he is a warrior with a code to follow and he has his own level of ambitions. I have to say so far he looks more interesting than the ML for me : )
The drama is ok but it would be more enjoyable with a little bit more cuteness and sparkling moments between the two leads. They could do that even if she is a little bit too naïve at times.
After watching 2 Episodes the Positives I found was :- Expensive production, nice locations , good looking costumes…
First 5 mins of ep 1 were not necessary but also for me it was a little bit cranky. I just could not figure why she arrived alone on the battlefield after the battle and why they kissed when surrounded by dead soldiers. Kind of a weird thing to do.
I like the two leads specially the FL but the drama goes too fast and does not give time to make them endearing with less actions and more cuteness and personal time between the leads. I am enjoying it but I feel like it is a bit rushed and it looks forced at times.
This drama is advancing so fast it does not bother with details but ok, the story is interesting and the leads have a good chemistry. I am curious about Go Geon. Looks like another villain torn between his feelings and his dad for Lee Ji Hoon.
First ep is very fast paced and it is entertaining but going so fast there are some things that are cliché and do not sit well to the point it is a bit grotesque. They should have used 2 episodes to tell all these things in a deeper way. Anyway, It is a good start.
For many episodes, their duo was a little bland because he was not in control of things and he was always telling things to her like a mentor or a professor. The relationship lacked intensity. But since she chose to save him in the fire palace, things are different. He is taking decisions and action now and there is a danger upon her identity. I hope it keeps getting better and not too complicated.
But strangely I still have some sympathy for Wu Yuan and the new Yin Zhuang and her Jedi powers.
First time I saw him in the drama I thought "OK, this guy is handsome and full of charisma. He is total competition for our guy Arthit... " But slowly... as the story moved on... lol.
I agree Arthit's dad is not perfect and he was hidding things very early but I understand his logic and what I like about him is when Arthit and Paeng could have crossed the red line to the point they would never be able to understand each other anymore, he was there to prevent them to reach that point of no return.
