As for Grandma she gave her affection to Ji Pyeong without waiting for a reward. That money should it be his or not, it is good she did not keep it.

In Ep2 Grandma asked him to find Nam Do San. He said it's impossible as they both made him up. She asked him to find the kid who won the Mathematical award. Because Dal Mi has been putting Nam Do San on a pedestal since then. Grandma said it is because of him Ji Pyung but he says it is because of them both. She wrote the letters with him and she started it and he said he only helped her.

Dal Mi's letters brought something to him. But why he would denegate his responsibility if he poured his heart in these letters. Why he would say he only helped he is not the cause of her delusion.

To say he had feeling for her or he was pouring his heart like there was connection between these two is not the reality. Dal Mi remembers almost everything about her Nam Do San but for Ji Pyeong she is a stranger. He can't even remember her name after she said it in the Lecture hall.

Ji Pyeong was never a very considerate person. He does not really care about the feelings of others. He does'nt express his own feelings and worse, he does not even know what they are. Probably he will keep being confused.

Accusing grandma of stealing his money was overboard, unkind, unfair and greedy from him. But it is understandable because he was young and a bit hot headed. As for the origin of that money and it's legality, I won't comment more on it.

So yes now he has a huge favor to return to her.

He did not steal the money. He stole the facility to use an account which was not his to make money which he legally cannot claim as his.

If the bank or the broker or the Stock Market learns that the operations were done by him and not initiated and authorized by the official owner of the account (let's say the financial police using an AI determines that the authorizing signatures were faked and the transactions approved at a time the owner of the account could not have approuved them), it would be deemed invalid unauthorized operations leading to withdrawals, cancellation and compensation and the whole 70 millions revenue would be taken back or HJP could be sued to pay millions as compensation in court and sent to jail.

What you don't understand about this drama and this first ep is that Ji Pyeong was not only a good boy. No one is only good. Everyone has his bad side. And he was an angry orphan who threw away his prize sign or yelled at grandma. He would use his qualities and competences but also people and illegal means to find a way to college and to succeed. He was good by helping grandma with the letters. He was also bad by using her account behind her back. The reason people liked him so much in that 1eps is not because he was good or nice or gentle or perfect. He was not perfect. It was because he was just human with his good deeds and his mistakes that grandma forgave and she even gave him new shoes after all this.

I think you should pay more attention to the details and what they really mean in the description of the characters and their choices and their development. It would make the whole thing a lot more enjoyable for you. Instead of endorsing at once that the character is good or bad because you like the actor or because you find him/her cute and making trial of intent to people who do not side with your choice.

Again, if you and your sister put both your money in an account open in her name. The transactions are made for her, in her name and she is the one to sign if sign off is required. She is the only one legally and financially bound.

Typical lakorn piling drama tropes. The reason they were brought together as enemies is so far fetched. But Ok, the chemistry between the two leads is good. They are crazy and funny. Will keep watching.

I don't think it is contradictory. Maybe she is sensing that the guy despite helping Do San to impresss her he might have something for her.

When she witnessed him helping them and she asked herself why, he was sending contradictory messages to her. To review the text of her pitch and give her advices for her presentation is one thing. To be sitting close to her when she was sleeping is another thing. Even when they were playing go stop the guy was looking at her weirdly. He has a very unatural behavior around her.

It is understandable that for a second she had that idea. And she said it bluntly to him because it is her personality to say these things . Do San explained her that he asked for his help. It cleared her misundersanding but is it a misunderstanding?

Ji Pyung and Grandma wrote the letters. They both made NDS of the letters up. He said it himself. Dal Mi considers the NDS of the letters as her first love but she is growing stronger and more capable.
