If you put Xu Kai in his stead, the drama already looks something else. No, the FL lead already looks a lot better with the SML with exactly the same behavior.

Nobody can tell if he is happy or not just because he has a little smile which could just mean he is amused by the innocence of the story in the Letter. NDS telling he can't relate to her story and to her and HJP saying he can relate to her does not mean he loves Dal Mi. It just means NDS is a logical down to earth person who cannot understand an eccentric person who would walk without purpose in the rain just to be drenched in water when she has an umbrella.
