I wish we were provided information about how humanoids were actually made. They were bought and customized but had flesh and blood with the same DNA as the original person? In the case of the mother in ep. 1, both human and humanoid mothers had the same DNA. I'm guessing the humanoid children were also genetically related to their parents hence why they could only be told apart from humans using the drug. So how exactly could some random seller in the black market customize a humanoid?
An Qui's actions in ep. 10 & 11 were rather questionable and ruined the show for me since I really liked her character. I don’t know why anyone would choose to work with a known serial killer even if for her own revenge. He had no justification for murder! The fact that he even attempted to murder her but she cried when he was shot (to save her) is wild. She barely even remembered him from her choppy memories.
She is a psychologist but bought into his story 100%, not sensing some manipulation or having even a tiny bit of doubt is crazy. I wonder if this was a pitfall of her being a humanoid but I guess we'll never know. I wish it was clarified to her that he was the one who pushed Chen Nuo with the knife unto her brother. She chooses to be with Chen Nuo still thinking that he murdered her brother? Again, why?
This needed to be at least a 24 episodes drama to build the world properly and give the plot more substance. The…
I agree. Many things were just vaguely explained where they needed to be fleshed out. The show had so much potential but they limited themselves with just 12, thirty-minute episodes. The ending was too convenient and the misunderstanding about what happened inside the van was not even cleared.
A few things annoyed me in this show. 1. No one ever found out that Oh Nam was the one who murdered and chopped up the first guy. Even Mo Mi didn’t know that that mf psycho was the one who finished him off. Pretty sure he would have left a ton of DNA behind. Seems the police didn’t do their job
2. No one (except Chun Ae) ever found out that Oh Nam SA'd Mo Mi. Mo Mi should have at least told the pyscho mum that she was in fact ruining her grand daughter's life.
3. Psycho mum's strength is not adding up. Mo Mi was 27 in 2009 so in 2023, she should be 41. So pyscho mum should be a 70 something year old grandma but how tf is she so agile and beating up a woman 30 years younger??
Rant aside, I enjoyed this show - just a tad bit disappointed with the last episode. Han Byul and Nana were great! Especially Nana in those epic prison scenes.
I must commend Rain Wang for playing Li Qiao, the powerful, unapologetic bad bish in this drama. I was so sick of seeing her as the scheming sister/princess or fake good girl that becomes bad due to jealousy. I had never liked her characters in previous dramas but this was chefs kiss. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing her evil self in this drama. Dress, nails and makeup were all on point. I hope to see her in more positive roles in the future.
The narrator was so over the top it was hilarious! I didn’t expect much so I was pleasantly surprised at the show. I started for Min Ho but came to love many other the players especially Marin, Win, Kinjo and Sano. Will definitely be keeping an eye out for them from now on. Overall very enjoyable.
I don't remember anything about the first season. Are they connected heavily, or can I watch this one regardless?
Same! I didn't remember much from S1 except for the main characters and I just winged it. I enjoyed S2 regardless but was lost in some scenes where they brought up the old criminal from S1. I had no idea who he guy was but it didn't dampen the enjoyment of the drama lol.
This season was so draggy and where are the anwers ? We still don't know how Wook is linked to II Yong ? Why Wook…
It's because her whole body wasn't found. The writers tried to relay this to us by juxtaposing the scene with the wife confessing to throwing her leg that was caught in the net into the sea with the scene where Captain Kang was wondering why she was still in the village. It is likely the same reason with Thomas especially since he was a freedom fighter. I was thinking he was either hit by a bomb or ended up in a minefield. So, I almost got a heart attack when Det. Shin entered a minefield. I hope he's okay and returns for S3 if there is one.
