I really can't tell when a drama is high or low budget lol. I just look and think wow everything is so beautiful 🤣 but I actually like that they didn't over do skin in this drama.

100% agree. Wish the rules weren't so strict esp since some of these are based on novels and the novels are so good that the dramas usually fall short.
But I do appreciate the female characters from rebirth dramas more than most genres. They usually aren't naive and easily bullied. That's why I like them.

Idk...I don't buy the happy ending. Yes, she fell for Xi Wu in her dream. But she didn't fall for the reality Xi Wu. Who knows just how different they could be.
I really wished we got some episodes for when she wakes up. It almost feels like an empty happy ending they are pushing onto us.
I take back what I said, ep 30 was not my ending. I'm choosing 29 as my end.
30 makes sense but it's too short and too rushed. I would have liked for some interaction between HQ and XW in reality. And extra ep or 2 of how she copes with reality is needed.
I don't love the ending but I don't hate it either. So I guess it'll do.
And to end this, my favorite male character was Hua Rong Zhou. Yes, even though he is ...(will not spoil end lol), the way he dedicated himself to her. He loved and cherished her and never betrayed her and that's what she's always wanted.
It's not finished yet but regardless of the end, I will admit this is one of the better dramas I've seen. I can appreciate the FL's strong and cautious personality. Yes, she does annoy me at times but overall, I loved her character. So glad she wasn't crying and letting people walk all over her like so many other dramas I've seen.
Am I the only one who likes the ex? 🤣🤣🤣 He tried to make things work. He respected her and wanted to spend more time with her. I can't blame him for the way he treated her when he found out but I mean....his treatment wasn't even that harsh.
